The heliport is located on a floating pontoon tethered to the bank of the Yarra River, right on the edge of the Melbourne Central Business District. It is across thye river from Crown Casino, and is 5 minutes walk to a tram service into the city, and 10 minute walk to Southern Cross Train Station. It is operated by Microflite Pty Ltd and has landing positions for 2 helicopters.
