there are many people who want to use the air passage but unfortunately, airport authorities are not providing enough information. Nobody knows when it will start again. There has to be some deadline. Either work on it and deliver the services or shut it down, hanging in middle isn't the solution neither is barring the communication.
Even getting good responses for fight, Shuted down Mumbai-Jalgaon... Was expecting a great response for Jalgaon-Pune but they are not serious, and didn't started the fight... Kolhapur is getting Bangalore flights and we are not getting Surat, Amhedabad, Indore, Bhopal knowing that this route can get a huge response from people's of business and education sectors... Ignorance to Jalgaon continued... Knowing that people from Jalgaon, Dhule, Buldhana,Bhuranpur district's (Population combined more than 10 million) can take service the administration is lazy for it most are unaware .... Many people including doctors , business men , other professionals travel to mumbai from Jalgaon & bhusawal. Please start daily mumbai flight from Jalgaon and to Jalgaon. They can get good response. People in Jalgaon have got money but still there is no airport. Many people travel to aurangabad to get the flight so please start airport at Jalgaon.
I think UDAN scheme got attantion for Jalgaon as unserved airport and awarded 1st flight starts in September 2017 (as per media resources).
Air Deccan got contract and they will start service soon but don't know exact date of 1st flight. Also, they are not taking bookings as they didn't finalise date of fiights. :(

I dont think we will be able to see a flight taking off from Jalgaon Airport unless and until it is aimed for a visit of politician...First of all, I failed to understand the purpose of this airport. In absence of industrialized growth, I dont see any reason for local people to use flight for travelling to Mumbai / Pune / Nagpur / Delhi which are also very well connected by means of road / rail networks from the city.
Purpose of wasting tax payer's money on building and hurried inauguration of this airport is only to show some work being done by so called khandesh kanya .. pratibhatai patil. Also local politicians must have got their cuts while constructing this airport...now they dont have any reason for fighting to get it started with regular (even once in week is also ok) flights there.
Since Jalgaon is near to Ajanta Caves, Padmalaya and also Railway Junction Bhusaval, Dhule,.. if the flight starts, peoples can use the facility of flights.. But When it will start still that is question mark..?

AAI Jalgaon has approved Pune based Silver Jubilee Private Limited proposal for starting up passenger flights from Jalgaon and has availed night parking and alike technical aspects to it for quick start.
