This airport, with its 2,119 ft runway, gets attention as one of the world's (so-called) most dangerous airports, but that's a bit nonsensical. It's more a matter of what plane you're choosing to land there.
A Twin Otter or even DC-3 could handle it without breaking a sweat, and probably leave a lot of the runway unused; a 747 would shoot off the end at full speed and end up as a smoking wreck.
In between those extremes, it's a matter of how close you want to cut it to your plane's maximum performance, as with any airplane and runway.
