Howdy, As Linda wrote I also knew Jean as the former owner and as an FAA Pilot Examiner, Art was the owner at the time I was there. “Captain” Kurt McQuown assisted me in earning the multi engine instructor rating. Kurt taught the commercial ground school and I was the Private Pilot ground school instructor Monday and Wednesday evenings. I eventually continued on as a 747 ground instructor for The Flying Tiger Airline until the Fed ex takeover. I married one of my Rose Aviation flight students. Patti went on to fly Internationally as a Captain for US AIR. We are both retired. Bob Penikas
