Home Base correction

Hi guys

Just to clarify, Mango (738's) and Comair (Kulula.com and the local British Airways operator with various 737 models) only have pilot bases in Cape Town, along with SA Express (CRJ2 and DH4Q) , SAA (738's) and SA Airlink (ERJ and Avro RJ's). This is not the 'home' bases of these airlines. All of them have the Head Offices in Johannesburg (OR Tambo International).

Its not a biggie, I know...but still, its more correct.

It's an old town by African standards established in the mid-1600's as a trading post for the Dutch east India Company. Today, it is a gate way to the chaos of southern Africa over the past three hundred and fifty years. Read more here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Town

The airport is great, NAV equipment works. It has AVGAS, wow! That's amazing in a many parts of Africa north of the Zambezi. Mike Beachy head owns Thunder City. If you have the urge to part with a few thousand US$ he'll take you supersonic in on of his war birds. The Cape Flying Club has aircraft for hire to flip around the cabbage patch. From Cape Town go see Stellenbosch, Breede River and if you have time and the budget, George, Kysna & Plettenburg Bay.

Cape Town had gorgeous scenery, hiking trails and wine lands that seem to roll on forever. It's must destination for any aviator.
