OTOH it is a matter of available facilities that decides if an aviation can be called an airport. A clear example is EHTW/ENS, it IS an airport since it has all the facilities, yet there is at present no scheduled service.

simple.wikipedia is even more subjective, and VERY US-centric. And I know it is a US tendency to call every aviation terrain an airport, but this is not in North America.

On this web site: Name "... Airport" does not indicate where airliners go, that is indicated by 'Airline service?' check box. 'en.wikipedia' is very subjective, see: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airport
