This airport is known as Chandragadi Airport.It lies in the Eastern part of Nepal(Mechi zone).The flight time from Tribhuvan International Airport to Chandragadhi Airport is about 45 minutes.The airport is at 300 feet (91 m) elevation. It has one runway designated 10/28 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,209 by 29 metres (3,967 ft × 95 ft).[1]
The airport is about 3 hours by road from Darjeeling via the Pashupatinagar-Ilam route. There are border formalities at Pashupatinagar.The aircrafts that are operated here are ATR72/500,MA-60,BOMBARDIER CRJ 200,JETSTREAM 41,etc
