Reply to @Gkikas_LGPZ: None yet,No, we don’t have a weather station providing met reports for the aerodrome yet. We know it would be really useful and we’re actively looking into getting one, but we’re still researching the best option for our setup.

Do you have any recommendations for a good weather station suitable for our airfield?

Cape Town's Newest Private GA Field!

Atlantic Aerodrome is Cape Town's newest private General Aviation airfield, located in the scenic Swartland wheat fields just off the N7 (less than 30 minutes from the CBD). Currently operational in phased development, with full opening planned for September 2026. Features include an 854m asphalt runway (02/20), edge lighting, planned APAPI approach lights, helipad, and fuel (MOGAS, AVGAS, Jet A-1). Private use – Prior Permission Required (PPR).
