Location described in Free Flight issue 3 of 1972. Also appears on 1988 National Topographic System map. Established by the Winnipeg Gliding Club in 1968 and abandoned in 1984 when the Assiniboine River eroded the end of the runway and the club built a new field at Starbuck.
