Rome–Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" is an international airport in Fiumicino, Italy, serving Rome. It is the busiest airport in the country, the eleventh-busiest airport in Europe and the world's 49th-busiest airport with over 43.5 million passengers served. It covers an area of 16 square kilometres.
The airport served as the main hub for Alitalia, formerly the flag carrier and largest Italian airline, which terminated operations on 15 October 2021. It is now the main international hub for Alitalia's successor ITA Airways.
hi, I downloaded kml file but just a few airports that are been shown on map are on the kml. How can I download a kml file with all airports from Europe?
Commuter trains run right into the middle (literally) of Fiumicino. You can take an express train that goes to the main train station, Termini - actually, they've renamed it Giovanni Paulo II station, I think. Or, for quite a bit less money, you can take a commuter train. The downside to that is that it makes a couple of stops on the way so it takes longer and it doesn't go to Termini. But if you are going to Trastevere, for example, it's fine.
