| Closed airport | La Mesa Park Airport was used by La Mesa Park Racetrack visitors who would fly in for horse races. The racetrack closed in 1992 and the airport soon thereafter. The only thing remaining of the runway are broken bits of asphalt. Pilots wishing to fly into Raton, NM should use KRTN about 8 miles to the south of the former NM67. |
