New Zealand airport problem reports

1. The Appleby NDB 210.0 KHz is no longer in existance.

2 The VOR Position and frequency have changed. Frequency is now 113.10 MHz and position is directly in line with the centre line of the runway at the Southern end "Runway 20" on the Monaco strip of land.

If you look at the map, there is housing to the East and West of the centre part of the strip of land called "Monaco".

In the centre of the bare strip, between the buildings there is a white round "grid like" pattern when you zoom in. That is the EXACT site of the new VOR.

VOR has been moved.

Westport Airport (NZWS) has a DME, WS 116.9 (S 41 44 26, E 171 34 47) It also has a NDB 278.0 frequency (S 41 44 33 E 17134 48)

Multiple duplicate runways with "Delete" as runway type.

Correct ATIS: 126.45

ATIS freq. has been changed.

Unable to add slope details as this is important for Performance calculations.

That is beyond the scope of this site. Would you like to try adding slope details for 80,000+ aviation facilities?

null runway - duplicate

Airport is now closed, skydiving and local airline operating company not operating since 2015.

Skydiving Company collapsed in 2014, Private Land now, live in Methven. Owners are using for stock grazing.

NZNE's runway is NOT 60 meters wide. I noticed that for some reason many airports in New Zealand are listed with a 60m wide runway, for some reason.

Is that some kind of default value that accidentally sneaks in when no proper width is specified? At any rate, this problem seems to be there for most NZ airports.

It's possible the data came from somewhere that mixed up metres and feet. In any case, I removed the width for these runways.

There is no 23-05 L or R anymore, the parralell grass runway was removed many years ago.
