Oceania airport problem reports

1. The Appleby NDB 210.0 KHz is no longer in existance.

2 The VOR Position and frequency have changed. Frequency is now 113.10 MHz and position is directly in line with the centre line of the runway at the Southern end "Runway 20" on the Monaco strip of land.

If you look at the map, there is housing to the East and West of the centre part of the strip of land called "Monaco".

In the centre of the bare strip, between the buildings there is a white round "grid like" pattern when you zoom in. That is the EXACT site of the new VOR.

Westport Airport (NZWS) has a DME, WS 116.9 (S 41 44 26, E 171 34 47) It also has a NDB 278.0 frequency (S 41 44 33 E 17134 48)

Runway 12/30 (gravel) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The current Airservices Australia ERSA aerodrome (FAC) entry (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026) declares a single runway at YMTI: 09/27 (sealed). The red-gravel 12/30 is decommissioned. Runway 18/36 (gravel) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The current Airservices Australia ERSA (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026), SkyVector and Wikipedia (AIP-cited) all declare a single runway at YWYM: 12/30 (sealed). Runway 18/36 does not appear in the current AIP. Verified against the official ERSA FAC and SkyVector - not from OurAirports-derived sources.

Runway 03/21 (sand) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The current Airservices Australia ERSA aerodrome (FAC) entry (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026) and SkyVector both declare a single runway at YWLU: 15/33 (sealed). Runway 04/22 (grass) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The current Airservices Australia ERSA aerodrome (FAC) RWY table for RAAF Base Edinburgh (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026) declares a single runway: 18/36 (2,560 m, asphalt, grooved). The grass 04/22 is not in the current ERSA RWY table. Verified against the official ERSA FAC - not from OurAirports-derived sources.

Runway 09/27 (gravel) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The current Airservices Australia ERSA Runway Distance Supplement (RDS) (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026), SkyVector and Wikipedia (AIP-cited) all declare a single runway at YLRE: 04/22 (1,936 m, hard). Runway 09/27 does not appear in the current AIP. Verified against the official ERSA RDS and SkyVector - not from OurAirports-derived sources.

Runway 16/34 (grass) is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The secondary grass runway 16/34 was permanently closed by the council in 2020 (flood-prone). The two helicopter runways H09L/H27R and H09R/H27L (each listed 1000 ft x 95 ft) do not exist and should be removed. They do not appear anywhere in the current Airservices Australia ERSA aerodrome (FAC) entry or Runway Distance Supplement (RDS) for Oakey (AIP cycle 19 MAR 2026), which declare three runways: 05/23, 09/27 and 14/32. Oakey Army Aviation Centre has no AIP-declared helicopter runways/lanes. Verified against the official ERSA FAC/RDS - not from OurAirports-derived sources.

Runway 05/23 is not a current declared runway and should be removed or marked closed. The cross runway 05/23 was closed in 2016 and partially converted into a taxiway. Bromelton Airport does not exist. Airservices states that there is no aerodrome located at Bromelton NDB. I was unable to locate any evidence that an airport did exist here, even by QImagery.

Airport is now closed, skydiving and local airline operating company not operating since 2015.

Skydiving Company collapsed in 2014, Private Land now, live in Methven. Owners are using for stock grazing.

The ATIS frequency on this site is quoted as 112.3 MHz. This is actually a VOR frequency.

VOR and ATIS can be on the same frequency. Charts also have the 112.3 as ATIS

Duplicate/non existent airport. Tarcoola Strip is at same location.

Ymen has its own METAR service but this page instead displays that of YMML. Is it possible to link the correct METAR? This is a very busy airport so would be quite useful.

Does this airfield actually exist?? The location is a long way from the town of Yea, and is in a narrow wooded valley. It's inconceivable that there could be an airfield there. Close to Yea is the Yeaburn airfield YYEA which is visible on the satellite images.
