One of the most scary airport in the world.
First build by Indian Army for military use, but never really piratically use of the strong wind and mostly closed weather. The runway build into the mountain and not flat, so the landing could be bumpy. The is no touch and go possible because another side of the runway is a mountain. In 2012-13 YON airport received schedule flight to Paro by DrukAir (KB) and promised but never flew Bhutan Airline. Now the airport is closed again because lack of passenger and uneven runway that could damage ATR-42 aircraft hull. Runway is being rebuild and schedule reopen is unknown. I personally took the flight out to Paro back in 2013, you can have a look here at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oTlJ55ePtw
about the status of flight
when we check the status of departed flights from ktm, how are we supposed to know when it lands at paro? The update you provide is not sufficient
very closs bhutan bangladesh and nepal airport
saidpur to bhadrapur(nepal) 125k:m: and saidpur to paro (bhutan)190 k:m:. but thakurgaon airport is very very important place. thakurgaon to nepal (bhadrapur) distance 70k:m: and thakurgaon to (bhutan)180k:m:only.so very cheap rate to nice journey.
DIFFICULT LANDING
I believe that landing at Paro is one of the most difficult in the world as u have to negotiate the valley and adjacent hills and sometimes turbulent cross winds

Extremely cool and beautiful terminal building and decorations in the upgrade plan. It is planned to be Bhutan's second international airport, with a runway planned to expand it to 3000 m.
If it has a cool landing like Paro or Paro has a beautiful terminal building like Gelephu, it will be perfect.
The Bhutanese wood carving in the planning photo is so cool.

Here's what it will look like. It will open in 2029.
