I too soloed in a 150 at Dowagiac, but that was back in 1963. Been flying private ever since (over 60 years). My latest and final ride is a TBM 940.

Wow, they are proud of their fuel. Exciting place to approach - hard to recognize the airport way down there in that box canyon. Bought the T-shirt "Some fly at 9070 feet, WE LAND"

My home port. That great little restaurant is Zunigas. They have a great little gar as well--Jesus is there to serve you.
