I was notified by the owner, Madeline Johnson (boonhillhouse@gmail.com), that the airfield is permanently closed. The google maps verifies it's a farm field now with bails of hay on it.

The airport was closed since 2019 You can search it up on Google

Although commercial traffic is moved the new Istanbul airport, Atatürk Airport is still operational. It accommodates general aviation traffic of Istanbul and maintenance facilities for some airlines. You can check the air traffic from Flightradar24.
