Where to Find Official Sentani Airport Information
To find official aeronautical data, go to:
https://aimindonesia.dephub.go.id/index.php?page=product-aip-electronik-vol123.html&id_aip=120
Alternatively, go to https://aimindonesia.dephub.go.id, register for a free account, and sign in. After logging in, in the left tab, go to Produk>>AIP Elektronik>Vol I, II, II>Vol II>AD 2>Sentani (or Jayapura). On that page, the default is the textual information. There's an upper tab that says "AIP Elektronik" or "Chart". Select "Chart" to see a listing of the airport diagrams, Instrument Approach Procedures, etc.
Cheers!

Amazing Indonesia or often we short as "Amazindo", is a portal and a community engaged in the field of tourism communication. . We were born as a volunteer to give a little contribution to the fragrance of the nation in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the world's communication channels, and also we like indonesian artist like Tukul Aswin Arwana, his the most amazing artist ever.
Practical but very close to town
Flying in to Kornasoren with Merpati Nusantara Airlines you think you will be hitting the trees or dropping into the water but it comes up and easy touchdown and take offs. The town is built around it basically so you can walk out of the "airport" and right on to the main street or the beach. Lots of commercial fishing in the area so some big boats off the shores, careful of sharks at dusk when the fishing ships drop their waste.
By Boat from Noemfoor
To get to Kamiri I was able to fly into Kornasoren/Noemfoor and convinced a local fishing guide to take me around the island where we landed at Kamiri and Namber and we overnighted on the boat. Exploring the sites for WWII historical reasons, there is a road around the island but slow going especially in rainy season so by boat was better and faster. Walk up the beach and through some dense bush to get to the former strip, people living in huts and tree-houses in the area living off the land, very quiet and serene there.

Fishing village on the south coast from Namber (Rawisidori) was very friendly but only local dialect spoken but friendly and good cooks if you like fish.
Clear for miles
Flying in with Garuda from Makassar a number of years back not a cloud in sight, easy approach. Great airport, easy to get around (7 gates) and taxis to town are cheap.
Built by my grandfather
My grandfather was part of the battalion that built this strip as well as others in the area during WWII. I went out there by boat about 10 years ago from Biak Island, some bold pilots say you can still land there but it is not maintained in any way so the chances of hitting something are high. Beautiful island, deserted except for some fishermen who beach their boats during the day or camp overnight and lots of bats..
RWY 24 in and RWY 06 out
Just only 1 RWY for incoming traffic ...... RWY 24 .... due to mountain wall at the end of RWY 06. New ICAO Code for Dabra is WAJC.
Susi Air fly to Sarmi
