Amravati is the 2nd largest city in vidhrbha and 6th largest city in maharastra still there is not much developemnt as it is in vidharbha. save vidhrbha,save india or seperate vidhrbha and make it a seperate state.

Amravati airstrip is not developed into a airport in more than 4 years even after the approval of the developement.

in the developemnt of airport also what they have to do it is just develope the airstrip's length and acquire land and construct a terminal building.

in total 5 years of rule if the government is not able to develope a domestic airport then what is the use of such hopeless government.
best example is the developement of amravati airport as it has already completed more than 4 years still there is not much developement which u can see at the site of amravati airport.

this is not developement this is called as just keeping the projects pending for 5-10 years and asking the voters to vote for them as they are developing the projects and are in the process of developement.and the politicians and the government keep asking for votes on the basis of pending projects that we will complete this within a year or in some months it's happening in vidhrbha in maharastra do u all really think that this kind of practice is really bad for people of vidhrbha in maharastra.

The code of amravati airport is not a code of a airport it's still a code of a airstrip see after the approval of developing the airport it's more than 4 years still the airport is not developed even the airstrip code is not changed to a airport code. this is what is happening in maharastra specially with the developement projects of vidhrbha i.e Amravati and nagpur region.

Top speed run
I'd like to take my bike to a safe location to max out the speed, I figured a paved landing strip would be perfect. Any idea where I could go do this???

No Brakes
Strip appeared to be clear of snow and grass covered on March 31st 2013. The surface was water on frozen turf. It was a long roll out in My Scout with Alaska Bush wheels. Shouldn't have been a surprise but it was. No problems out and agreat day. I was into the Ram Falls strip prior and it was dry.

If anybody says maharastra is developed then they are wrong just go and check some parts of maharastra like vidhrbha is having less industries and developement like irrigation and other infrstructures like IT and ITES companies are not much there in vidharbha in maharastra only western maharastra is developed rest is like undeveloped except cities like nashik,pune,mumbai,aurangabd,baramati, others are undeveloped due to fund problems as maharastra government is providing funds specially to western maharastra.
Vidharbha has started growing still the government is not much focused on vidhrbha's developement issues. there is very urgent need of developeing existing airstrip at amravati into a full fledged commercial airport as government has already approved the plan of developeing airport in amravati, now they ahve acquired more than 50-60% of land required for the developement of airport in amravati city.

when the hell when this airport will be developed in amravati city it's existing airstrip just they need to extend the airstrip and provide night landing facilities and terminal building some staff quarters that's it for that also they are taking more than 5 years same on madc and maharastra government. work must not be this much slow.

when the hell the airport in amravati city will be completed keep amravati close for atleast 2-3 days to make the government of maharastra to speed up the work of amravati airport this must be done by officials,commercial outfits in amravati,shops union,labour union,medical stores union,hospitals and hotels union.
It's the need of the hour that the amravati airport must be developed as early as possible with the night landing facilities.

It's more than 4 years still the airport is not yet developed and made operational, government is to slow in the developement work of amravati airport, they have not yet called any tenders for the developement of amravati airport this is waht the process of developement in so called developed maharastra ruling government is not taking care of the developement in vidhrbha. otherwise in more than 4 years airport could be easily made operational/functional. that's our mistake that we have chosen such lazy people for developement of vidharbha.

developemnt of amravati airport is the urgent need for the developement of the amravati sez,garment cluster,industries,jobs,society,backward tag of vidhrbha region given by western maharastra leaders specially from ncp as they don't see maharastra beyond western maharastra boundries all the fund of government goes to western maharastra this is not the way the politician should behave, they have take care of entire maharastra. they just think of their district/constituencies and divert all funds just to gain votes,i request all the leader of maharastra to develope vidharbha and create job oppurtinities in vidhrbha specially amravati and nagpur region i.e complete vidharbha once it is developed maharastra will not have much of it's backwardness in industries and jobs and infrastructure if they don't want to develope vidharbha because of their ruling desire they must seperate vidhrbha immediately and by providing proper funds for the developement of new state of vidhrbha.

maharastra government is partial with vidhrbha as irrigation,industries,infrastructure,hospitals etc and other many backlogs are affecting vidhrbha's developement/growth. amravati airport is still in pending state from more than 4 years.

ruling government of maharastra is partail as there is not much developement in vidharbha after giving a lot of promises also in actual there is no developement all are just like statements as after anoouncement and approval of amravati airport there is no developement at amravati airport site. even the amravati sez is having only 3-4 big companies like bdl,indiabulls etc.

( I noticed small progress )..On "C" gate every visit of Your plane 1 hr ...local security no power and callin' boss..than boss of the boss DEPARTURE:self called IDAC(local FAA)inspector show up that my FPL needs " corrections" in his office ($?) and when I told him that Miami confirmed my FPL w copy in my hands , the guy "folded tail" and despaired ....New "clip boarders" asking for unpayed? Invoices"FACTURITA $ 20.-" hidenly.nocking on side window even w running engines... ATC = OK got a taxi clearance .....If You pass this experience 3-4 times You are ready to wear Caribbean pilot palm shirt and enjoy aviator life !!!
- As a passenger flight WEST JET Feb 2012 ....I checked 2 empty baggages and got a stickers on my boarding pass ( by local WJ attendant). For second one need to pay extra $20.- and didn't have a cash ( my biggest mistake) ,offered Visa ..even to cashed money in local free shop ...NO...been sent for extra personal check / customs/police intentionally obviosly to lose the flight, after plane was gone everything was ok with smile..what a PERFECT COORDINATION. ..Nex day I took a flight from Porto Plata - Toronto and pick up my baggage ...w explanation of local WEST JET agent that computer showing " passenger didn't show up on time..."
