the name of the original runway is not CLASIC AIRFIELD but LEONARDO DA VINCI I have updated and corrected the name, plus it used to be classified as (campo di volo) today it is classified as (aviosuperficie) so both U.L.M. ultralight and G.A. general aviation aircraft can land there or updated the runway data.
Milan Malpensa Airport
Milan Malpensa Airport is the largest international airport in northern Italy, serving Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria, as well as the Swiss Canton of Ticino. The airport is 49 kilometres northwest of Milan, next to the Ticino river dividing Lombardy and Piedmont.
In 2022, Malpensa Airport handled 21.3 million passengers and was the 23rd busiest airport in Europe in terms of passengers and 2nd busiest airport in Italy in terms of passengers after Rome Fiumicino Airport, and the busiest in Italy for freight and cargo, handling 721.254 tons of international freight annually.
Malpensa airport is 9th in the world and 6th in Europe for the number of countries served with direct scheduled flights.
Together with Linate Airport and Orio al Serio Airport, it forms the Milan airport system with 42,2 million passengers in 2022, the largest airport system in Italy by number of passengers.
The airport was opened in 1909 by Giovanni Agusta and Gianni Caproni to test their aircraft prototypes, before switching to civil operation in 1948.

Here I learned to fly !!
Everyone already knows the definition by which a "good landing" is one after which you can leave the plane on its own legs. But few know the definition of "big landing": and one after which you can use the plane another time.

Great Guys
I flew a little cessna in there on New Years day..2015...my front Oleo had collapsed...two guys arrived...I think they were merry with new year wine...they fixed my oleo with rope...they gave me fuel....they gave me a bottle of wine to take with me....they put in my flight plan to fly to France...BUT...it never arrived and when I got to France the airport was closed..I landed but had to climb the wall to get out..police arrived..I got locked up for a couple of hours but the guard was drunk..( new years day) ..he let me go...
I must thank those two Italian guys, they were really helpful and such good people....Thank you, whoever you were....
