I would like to pull the attention of Air Port Authority of Darbhanga & Management Team of Airlines. Since 10 year myself living in Dubai UAE and desperately looking for the air services between Darbhanga to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta. A huge number of Passenger working at Gulf countries specially belong from Darbhanga Madhubani Samasthipur will avoid to take flight via Patna because of heavy traffic on Gandhi Setu. Couple of time it was happen with myself, family & friends, schedule flight was take off & we stuck at horrible traffic. due to change in demographic of population "young generation" and convenient mode of transportation it worth to kick start Air services from Darbhanga ASAP.

Regarding Darbhanga Airport to become operational for commer
I am grateful to the owner of Spirit Air to launch Flight Service from Darbhanga Airport. But my request is that the commercial flights like Indigo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir and Indain Airlines should also operate from Darbhanga Airport. It will be beneficial for the people of Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Sitamadhi, Sheohar, Champaran, Saharsa, Purnea, Supaul, Madhepura, Arariya.
Chartered Flight is not sufficient for these districts. To make it beneficial for the people of above mentioned districts, commercial flights Indigo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir and Indain Airlines should also start their services from Darbhanga Airport.

There is urgent need for a direct flight, connecting south india & Darbhanga region ( darbhanga, samastipur, Madhubani etc etc.) As per my estimate there are around 1 lakh IT engineers & lakhs other are working in Bangalore & Hyderabad regions. Most of the passengers travelling from Patna are from Darbhnaga region only. Pls look into it.

Unfortunately, news today (2015-05-03) is that the runway is starting to suffer damage from so many landings over the past week, so they've restricted it to smaller aircraft only.

They are charging the Parking charges from Vehicles entering the Airport to drop the passenger and no action by the Airport Authority . None of the Airports in the Country charges if the vehicle comes , drop and go

I adore the airport, very clean, organize and quick service, everyone knows what they are doing, I am assisted politely and nicely by the immigration officer at the airport when I forgot to get re-entry visa because of busy schedule at work. I miss Japan, I love everything about Japan.
