Pres Erap knew its importance and we had the advantage but we just let go of it , lousy local politicians made it difficult for it to happen because they think putting it in Silay spells doom to bacolod , such thinking is for unprogressive people, they never thought that someday Silay would be part of a metropolitan bacolod, and they let our rival city with their senator son make a good head start making it more difficult so the rest was history and made us second fiddle all the way to the end

Despite what is said in the Pilot Info section, there are no scheduled services to this airfield. It is occasionally used to take flights from Eilat or Ben Gurion if either of those airports is closed or for security considerations. Ovda is an Israeli Air Force base.

based on your documents at hand, i find it okay and complete. is the birth certificate issued here? if yes, mas maganda kung NSO orig authenticated. bring everything you declared. you'll be fine.

Thanks for reply :) yes,i already have my bf's passport copy with philippines stamps,"the formal obligation", Pictures together with my families,money remmitances receipts and the invitation letter from my bf. yyaahhhooo!! worry-free :) And i'm ready for the interview even for the secondary inspection if necessary :)

i believe for whatever effort i make here.... some of you would not agree with the ideas i have already discussed. and to you sir / madam anonymous, why not try to apply for the position immigration officer. so that you too can personally experience or come face to face with the everyday life on the job.
if you really want to be heard, try to suggest abolishing POEA - so that those we encounter with can enjoy leaving without any hardship as you defined here under immigration authorities like me.
we too disallowed / deferred the departure of some OFW's because of discrepancies in the documents presented to us. (example to be deployed in dubai, but upon arrival at said destination, filipino workers to be taken to risky areas such as jordan, lebanon or any other country not within the specified contract). and then what, who's to blame again? the criminal act of an immigration officer?
we have seen our fellow kababayans, deported or denied admission to their destination.... heard their sad stories and experiences. but sadly, the internet and social media is really a powerful tool to spread the word. often times the wrong information is disseminated to others.
not all of us are perfect. not all of us are powerful. but i do plead that do not identify us as one..... "criminals." i had second thoughts in providing others here the information that could help each and everyone. the keyword here is common sense, for every declaration you make,,,, all we ask is just proof.

i respect your opinion. and i am positively sure that you do have basis for such claims. BUT, based on data gathered from sources or the passenger himself / herself.... sometimes the purpose of the so-called "tour" travel is just a front for another purpose.

I have a german bf since more than 1 year,we met at social networking site.I have a visit visa for 3 months to Germany.And my flight is on may.we have a copies of some documents here like we passed to the German Embassy manila.my German bf was paid for my ticket,and he will be shoulder of all my expenses while im in germany.he is a sales rep.since 30 years.We have a "formal Obligation" from foreign office in germany,its a proof that my bf has a capability to support me in germany,i also have a health insurances.He was visited me here in the philippines twice last year and he also met my families.He is supporting me since we met because i'm not working.my question is..what else i have to show to the immigration at the airport on my departure date? thank you and godbless..

I have been hearing about the Jharsuguda airport regularly for almost 2 year now. But I dont see any real progress in this regard like notification for the airport, land acquisition, boundary, etc. Request the people to take it up whole heartedly for an early materialisation.

Hi,
I'd like to ask, I'm going to Bali for a 5-days vacation. I plan to bring my COE indicating my annual salary, position, and days on leave. I also plan to bring my ITR, 1 month payslip, bank certificate/statement, company ID, credit card, my plane itinerary, tour, cruise and spa reservations. Are those enough to prove that it is plainly for pleasure and that I will be back in 5 days?

Im lee from manila.Im going to Germany this coming MAY,I have my Visit visa with 90 days validation.I'l visit my boyfriend there at Kernen and i will stay with him at his own apartment.We just heard from some peoples were encountered at immigration at airport,they asked for Affidavit of Support From Philippine-embassy of the destination.We just wanna know if, do we still have to get the "Affidavit of support" from philippine Embassy in Germany Although we have a "Formal Obligation".its also authenticated Affidavit of support from foreign office there in Germany.And my bf was tried to call the philippines embassy in germany,they said they wont issue such a paper.Thank you and we hope to hear from you..God bless us all!

yes po, that would substantiate proof of your relationship with the sponsor. (brother). Your brother is an OFW?
And i assume, SA KANYA KA PUPUNTA?
If you are to visit your brother, suggest ko rin po, an authenticated affidavit of support from the Philippine Embassy / Consul to where your brother is based, have a copy of your brother's passport, visa and POEA-OEC.

sorry for the late response. you already got the necessary docs at hand! hope that everything goes well for both of you. my advise is to be at the airport early to avoid the rush of things. if you'll be travelling via NAIA I, be early (at least two hours before your intended departure).
