Great airfield to plan an Italy/France leg.
This airfiled is located just few mile before Valle Argentera, the best point to cross using small airplanes the Italian France border.

Hi guys, beware, this is very expensive airport- for Cirrus SR22 - few hours standing, i pay together more than 600eur. 200eur for landing and parking and 400eur for handling( handled by Malev). And they dont make free cofee for you, just for pax :D

Ground transportation to Helsinki
There are trains (and buses, but I have no experience with them) going from HEL to Helsinki Central Railway Station in the city centre (Helsingin pÀÀrautatieasema). The trains take 25-30 minutes and both lines (I and P) go every 10 minutes. Information on the train is also given in english. One-way adult tickets are 5.50, 24h tickets for the region (including Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and Kauniainien) is 12 Euro. Tickets can be bought at the baggage claim area within the airport, at the train stations themselves (airport and railway station) or from a conductor in some trains (trains are marked, if there is or is no ticket sale available on the train or in which carrier). It is worth exploring the city of helsinki, if you have a longer layover.

I took Yanair from Kiev to Tbilisi in October 2016.
Long time I did not experience such a lovely airport.... a dream!
Bravo for the Staff, for the maintenance.
I took a very nice breakfast in the cafΓ©.

Prior permission required. While in the 1970ies, this was a lovely airfield, and flying was strongly supported by the Burda publishing company, the greenish attitude of local politicians has made flying on this airfield a miserable affair.

I checked the frequencies against the AIP, they looked quite OK. Only I removed the FIS - it was, confusingly, called an AFIS :( - because it is useless on a controlled airport like this one.

Better never land on this airfield they will take from you 100 PLN for one day staying outside, they empty your tanks and block your Aircraft till you pay.

Also the propeller Inn is under new management and open.So why not visit soon.

Very short runway, cross to the prevailing winds, and with dense wood just south. Not for beginners, nor for fast planes. Also, the place is within the CTR of Kleine Brogel Air Base EBKB, thus not normally available on weekdays. PPR absolutely mandatory. Owner is a very friendly and helpful person, but the field is rather spartan.
