Overgrown in summer
We landed here in 2 light sport aircraft and 1 other Sling (700kg MAUW) in summer after the rainy season and the Google Earth pic of a dirt runway in no way resembled what we encountered. If a runway existed it was invisible and the field was covered with thick grass up to waist high. There were a few tracks created by the locals as walking paths and the surface was rough. The landings were very rough and I would not recommend one to land there unless some maintenance work is pre-arranged. There appeared to be a "airport" manager stationed there and we were able to arrange security for the 3 nights we stayed there at US$50 per day/night and they cut a take-off path for us by our return to fly out. We also got great help from Noleen at Thumbi View Lodge and had we know the condition of the airfield we might have been able to prearrange clearing through her - info@thumbiviewlodge.com - best place to stay on the Lake.
Overgrown and Military
The Google Earth photo maybe represents the airfield in a drought, but we landed there on the 14th March 2017 and it was effectively an emergency landing in armpit high reeds and grass. To get the airplanes airborne again we hired local labourers to slash the grass and cut a runway path for US$80. We were also surrounded by the military on landing and were advised that the runway had been handed over to the military and despite our permit to land, we had no authority. On offering US$50 per day to look after the 3 planes, they relented and all seemed fine again.
SG TRIP TRAVELING WITH MY FRIEND EXPERIENCE
Share ko lang, based on my experience last yr Jan.trip to SG its our first travel with my friend. Dalawala lang kmi nun. Pinapunta kami sa loob (yung may mga upuan) sa mga 1st travel ata pinapapunta dun, di ako sure. Medyo madami kami nun na nakaupo and nakikita ko na kabado sila at parang nagbubulungan. Patay malisya nalang ako kasi ayoko mahawa sa nerbyos nila when my friend tell me that she is nervous. Sabi ko girl wag ka pakita na naninerbyos ka. Sino ba naman kasi hindi mararamdaman nyan eh kung 50-50 ka kung makakaalis ka or what. Then eto na nga, when the lady IO is calling who is next walang lumalapit mga 2x sya tumawag ng susunod. Eh nasa hulihan kami ng friend ko so i raised my hand and tumayo papunta sa IO. Naging smooth naman yung conversation namin and pinakita ko lang na excited ako. Hiningi nya itenerary, company id (nag ask sya about my work if san related) i answered her with confidently with smile. Nag ask din sya if meron ako CARD eh ang pinakita ko Card is "BDO KABAYAN SAVINGS" lol! Dun nako kinabahan kasi baka mag isip sya na kung ano ano. Nag asked nga si IO na bakit daw meron ako nun sinagot ko ulit sya confidenlty " hinuhulugan po kasi yan ng bf ko na nasa brunie" sabay smile hahaha pero ang totoo hindi naman lol. Actually malakas naman loob ko nun magsinungaling kasi meron naman ako proof na picture yun nga lang ex ko nalang siya. (Wag po nyo po itry na magsinungaling lalong lalo naif wala po kayo maipapakitang proof) mga 5mins ako nainterview nun at yun nag stamp agad siya. While naman yung sa friend ko na ininterview nag asked din about work (eh magkawork kami) so be sure po na pareho kayo ng sagot. 2nd nag asked yung IO sa friend ko ng school college I.D lucky nya kasi dala and meron pa sya nun. Tip lang po sa mga nagbabalak or naghahanap ng kasama pagtravel make sure po na kilala nyo details ng isat isa.

The fake parking bill giving BY a person of SS enterprise contract. I have checked in airport early morning @ 05:22:56 on 20th March 2017 but when I reached out the person in check out told it's almost 7 minutes over u pay Rs60. While I was asking for bill he gave me a bill which was not computerised and the date of bill was 19th March. Wen i told about bill date he just took that bill and punched 20th date and gave me and the bill was for tempo and suv, but my vehicle was not suv normal hyundai i 10.so my request is take necessary action against that contractor and make computerised bill on check out position also, if u r not taking any action i will complaint higher authority

If may pareho silang trabaho hingin mo bank statement ng mga magulang mo or COE nila, payslip nila. Isama mo narin mga birth cert.ng parents mo. At kung ano paman pwedeng hanapin sayo. Student din ako and magttravel this may. Ganyan gagawin ko dadalhin ko lahat para may ipresent lang sa mga IO nayan mga leche sila hahaha
