Visitor come with Relative Visa issued in country of Origion - Customs Official at OR Tambo asks - Why is Visa issued abroad and not in South Africa - I tried to speak to official - I ask her name - she say its OFFICER - I ask kindly you name - "hey..hey..hey...you want to speak to me or not?" and handed the phone back. WTF? Home Affairs does mpy understand their own Immigration legislation?
re: Chileka airport club
I used to cycle from Limbe to Chileka once or twice a week, around 1967 - 1970 era, and the folks used to meet the Samuel family there for drinks every Sunday - my father was in the Nyasaland police, thereafter Malawi Police, (initially in Zomba and then i/c of the police training school in Limbe). I wonder if the club is still operative?

Kakadating ko lng dito sa sg.. pure tourist lng po ang purpose ko.. smooth na lng pla sa immigration ngaun sa terminal 1.. di na masusungit mga immigration officer.. but still they cannot give u a smile.. wala na tinanung sakin.. hinanap lng rt ticket at company I. D ko taz stamp na passport ko.. sana lagi ganun or bka na harap lng ako sa mabait na girl na I. O.. sa mga mag travel pp sana maging smooth din ung pag labas nyo ng bansa.. :)

Just had to pay a bribe at Tan Son Nhat Airport
I just arrived in Ho Chi Minh from Singapore.
To those that said "I have traveled to HCM many times but was never stop to pay a bribe". Good luck to you so far. I have traveled to HCM countless times too, but finally, I had to bribed the A-hole officer.
I was scanning my bag at the x-ray machine, when the officer pulled me over. I had 2 iphones in my bag. He said I had to pay a tax of 10%, amounting to S$100. Under pressure of not wanting to lose my iphones, I paid the bribe of $100.
Seriously, Vietnam has to got to get its act together. When people ask me about Vietnam, I tell them the food is good etc, but I say the police and the airport is corrupt. If that is the image that Vietnam wants to create, then so be it.

Immigration a joke
The Goverment is always saying they are creating employment. Well there there are twenty empty desks at ORT immigration and 300 customers. One hour to clear immigration is a minium. Fly via Durban or Cape Town if possible is my recommendation.

back dec. 2015 po kc ngvisit kmi sa vietnam with our son para imeet ang husband ko. Then ng tuloy po kmi to bulgaria after magrant yung visa nmn from consul in vietnam. ng stay po kmi sa house nmn dun, without realizing ng overstay na pla kmi ng bby ko ng four days. pero hnde nmn po kmi pinagalitan or pinagbayad ng penalty sa immigration ng bulgaria. iniremind lng po kmi to count the days next time.
May plan po kc kmi mgholiday ulet to thailand this xmas, mgttravel po aq with my baby 1 yr.old, although i been to several asian countries po and been to thailand as well.. ngkaron po aq ng worry from our previous visit in bulgaria. Hnde ko po alm if my possibility ba with our case na mkatravel ulet to thailand for xmas.. if you know any information that may help us po. please comment po.. thank you...

Unemployed ako since May 2016. Nag travel ako ng solo to JapanxTaiwan nung July-August. I just told the IO na kaka-resign ko lang from my job. Tinanong nya yung previous employer ko at gano ako katagal dun. Familiar sya sa company kaya nahulaan nya na engineer ako. Tapos ayun, nagkwentuhan na lang kami at pinalampas naman nya ko after. Pero yung passport ko may tatak na din from 3 asean countries, nakatulong siguro yun. This November balak ko naman IndonesiaxMalaysiaxSingapore. Tapos Doha by December (pero hindi direct). Ayun, unemployed pa din ako ngayon. Kailangan lang magdamit ng maayos at disente, maging confident pero wag mayabang. Always be courteous, a little greeting wouldn't hurt. And be direct to the point.

Vacation lng nmn ako dun kasi andun yung bf ko na pilipino nmn. Blak ko pong di sabhin sa immigration n andun bf ko.pra walang masyadong tanong. Red flag p din po ba ako? Thanks
