12 Nov 2019 Fifty thousand square meters of plant that operated "in the absence of the most elementary safety rules" with the hangar, as well as other buildings used as warehouses and fuel storage, "without a fire prevention certificate". The Naval Station of Termoli of the Guardia di Finanza has seized the Ultravolo plant in Rio Vivo. The seals were triggered as part of an economic and financial police service operation ordered by the Aeronavale Operational Department aimed at ascertaining the ability to pay for people in possession of aircraft. The Finance has therefore discovered that the plant, which insists on arable land owned by the municipality had been granted on loan for free use, has no fences and is located near the road and numerous houses, constituting, in fact, a danger to "public and private safety. The person in charge of the structure - reads a note from the Finance Department - does not have a register in which departing and arriving air traffic is noted, a circumstance that makes the airfield a potential source of danger for the expected public order. the looming terrorism alarm and since the Molise coasts are historically affected by criminal penetrations from the Balkans with particular regard to international drug trafficking. The plant, whose appurtenances (about 500 square meters) were built mainly in the absence of the required authorizations and concessions, is located in a Site of Community Interest (SIC) for the protection of local fauna and an area subject to landscape constraints, therefore subject to more stringent regulations ". The plant manager was then reported to the competent judicial authority for violations in urban planning, landscape, environmental and safety matters. The Fire Brigade and the Municipal Technical Office have been activated for the relevant aspects.

airfield located near the Ofanto river a very flat area but. In the summer it is fantastic to fly in this area and observe the famous saline di margherita di savoia thermal area and production of iodized salt with health properties. (Excellent for those suffering from thyroid gland.) .
Margherita di savoia is a very renowned tourist resort.

It is a gigantic test circuit with other small circuits inside + a runway for airplanes, here in this place sports cars such as PORSCHE MERCEDES FERRARI LAMBORGHINI are tested.
To land in this place you need to call the circuit manager here and the website.

Place with marvelous lunar landscapes wonderful sea could have been the most eastern airfield of Italy excellent for reaching greece or albania which are only 70km away by car the place is called Masseria Autigne where this was before airfield Torre S. Emiliano now I do not know if it is active or closed I mark it as closed.

il campo di Policoro non e' quello che hai segnalato tu nella mappa queste sono delle coordinare sbagliate apparte che sono andato a vedere sullo stradario di google map e non vedo ne i cinesini sulla pista e non c'e' traccia di manica a vento e non c'e' neanche traccia di hangar. per favore mettee le coordinate esatte prima di postare un nuovo campo volo altrimeti non solo rischiate la non visibilita' ma rischiate anche di far atterrare i piloti su posti sbagliati causando anche grossi problemi. Ora te le do' io le coordinate esatte del campo volo di policoro.

il campo di volo piu' vicino alla cittΓ di Bari (piu vicino al capoluogo) per chi veniva da fuori. vicino a 600m Est c'e' un grande centro commerciale auchan dove ci si puo' rifornire o dove trovare del ristoro.
e' un punto molto strategico essendo localizzato nel bel centro di tutta la PUGLIA peccato che il campo di volo e stato chiuso e oggi attualmente e' inattivo, anche se viene utilizzato dai club e associazioni sportive per il volo modellistico.

Per the following link, the Borgo Maggiore heliport was at the cable car station. This no longer appears to be the case, there is a "pad" but the cables run right over it!

This airport is in Crimea, still internationally recognised as part of Ukraine but under Russian military control. Due to international sanctions, only Russian flights are using the airport.
Brilliant airfield for GA flights
This airfield used to be military but is now open for pilots to visit and it's a great place with a small village about a 15 minute walk with two pubs, both with accommodation. The scenery around here is also amazing - well worth a visit

"Peace for our time"
This was the aerodrome where PM Neville Chamberlain arrived back from Munich on 30 September 1938, stood outside the airplane, and waved the Anglo-German declaration for the photographers. The airfield was decommissioned in 1947 when the government chose nearby Heathrow as the site for London's major post-war airport.

Nice flight on a Boeing Stearman PT-13 from 1940!
They have a Boeing Stearman PT-13 from 1940 in perfect conditions (as well as a YAKOVLEV YAK-11 from 1952), and you can have a test flight in them.
Wonderful experience, definitely worth a try!
