THIS LISTING IS TOTALLY INCORRECT... AIRFIELD DOES NOT EXIST

Castlebridge is located on the Northern outskirts of Wexford town and did at one time have an airstrip on a farm. The strip has reverted back to pastureland many years ago. The location indicated on the map is not an airfield but is in fact the centre of Wexford town! DW Aug 2016

Great Guys

I flew a little cessna in there on New Years day..2015...my front Oleo had collapsed...two guys arrived...I think they were merry with new year wine...they fixed my oleo with rope...they gave me fuel....they gave me a bottle of wine to take with me....they put in my flight plan to fly to France...BUT...it never arrived and when I got to France the airport was closed..I landed but had to climb the wall to get out..police arrived..I got locked up for a couple of hours but the guard was drunk..( new years day) ..he let me go...

I must thank those two Italian guys, they were really helpful and such good people....Thank you, whoever you were....

AIRPORT FEES

Are GA aircraft under 2T permitted if so can you clear C&I even though they are in the EU and Schengen if arriving from a full EU country?

What are the fees?

passenger tax arriving and departing?

Any other fee which has been thought of but not specifically mentioned by me?

Thanks in Advance

The only airport in the world where you need to consult tide tables before making your flight plan - the runways are only usable at low tide.

Beware the free WiFi

The free WiFi at BRU appears to be sponsored by a spam company β€” if you choose the Google login (and presumably also Facebook), it asks permission to access your full contact list. Your friends won't thank you for selling their email addresses so cheaply.

Duplicate

There appears to be two Bamberge-Breitenau airports, EDQA and ZCD. They should be merged.

Visit

Hello Phil,

My name is Roy Chapman. I live in Bournemouth.

On Friday I will be travelling to Cornwall for the Porthtowan fly in. ( I will be travelling by road).

I would be very grateful if someone could spare me 5 minutes in order to view the aircraft at Pymore.

Many thanks in advance.

And outdated by years...
