Originally scheduled to open July 2020, delayed due to COVID with new estimated completion date of December 2020. There has already been a landing here (an emergency landing of a Philippine Central Bank Gulfstream G200 on 10 Jan 2018).
2017 pa daa matatapus, ini. Dai pa ngani madki anong building or tower man lamang , siguro 2020 pa abutan kaini. Salidahi tabi an design kan terminal ta sobrang kanos. Hilinga ang airport na binuksan sa NORTH Korea, sobrang astig. Daing Bulkan mayon duman, maglaog ka sa NK na basang basang dai mo sigurado na maka balik kang tindog, pero hilinga ang airport.
For clarification, Legazpi Airport or Legazpi Domestic Aiport or Albay International Gateway can handle international flights. Iba po ito sa ginagawang Bicol International Airport, na may international standards.
Sino ho ba ang architect nag design ng Airport sa Bicol ang pangit nman pagka designs, parang hindi international pang domestic lng ang designs.to a beautiful thing without design things are boring and not nice."It seems to me that designers don't have any challenges designing beautiful concepts,Making beautiful things makes our lives worthwhile.dapat pagandahin para lalo ma attract ang mga turista.
I am confused on the location of the Legazpi international airport, I believe it is not located in legazpi but in Daraga. The map shown is the existing domestic airport, who put this here ? be sure of what you are doing ha!!!!
This international airport once finished will connect Luzon to the Visayas and probably Mindanao. It is going to be great.I really can wait to see it in operations.I can go home to my family in Ligap City every year or even every 6 months the least direct from where I am here overseas.I also think that my fellow Bicolanos from all over the world will be thinking the same as I do.
When is this going to open?I cant wait to go home to Albayflying directly from Australia to make it an easier and shorter destination and for my fellow Bicolanos and tourists from all over the world. It will surely bring a lot of jobs and tourism in the region so hopefully it is already getting closer to a finish.
Is the airport safe due to its officials? Several reports about the near crash were in even our newspapers (in the Netherlands) published. Good advertising.
Hi! I have planned to fly to Legazpi in February and I'm worried of the volcano Mt Mayon. I know people have been evacuated away from the volcano at the moment and like to know a little more! We have planned to fly to Legazpi then take a taxi to Pilar and a fast craft to Masbate City. What happens if the volcano eruptures?? Where can we land safely that our plans are not all going to waste? What's the situation at the moment?
I cant wait for it. Iam a legazpeno and iam happy for mY CITY. Though Naga is doing its best to grab it, nevertheless i know that legazpi would the best site for this for it lies at the heart of bikol and it would not only serve legaspi or Albay but the whole region with the othe provinces respectively
tourists are waiting to see what's in store in albay and legazpi city tourism...plus tourists are so eager to see with convenience the manta rays of ticao, whale sharks of donsol, beautiful beaches of masbate, sorsogon, catanduanes and albay!!!
