They didn't let me in to HK, i was with my boyfriend. i showed them my ticket , hotel booking , and i filled out the form for them. but their still holding me and they asked my boyfriend to checked in while their talking to me. keep asking me for pocket money! One girl said, if you have money then you can be a tourist, but if you dont have then your not allowed to be on the plane! All B.I is just grumpy old human. I feel sad for those people who is just corrupt, even in the airport their doing the same things. They look professional but sorry to say they just want money. try to hand them some money and their not going to ask you more and just let you in without any questions. Manila airport is the best! I am loving it there, and for sure everybody does. Terminal one , and Terminal two is amazing airport for those who wants to travel abroad. Unlike Clark shit airport and shit stuffs working there! i feel sorry for you guys.

You should know that under US and probably Canadian law, a pilot who agreed to fly you is taking a big risk unless they could prove that they would have made the flight without you. Offering to fly somebody somewhere for "some $$$ .. or whathaveyou" would be seen as "holding out" as a commercial operator.

Don't go swimming
If heading North, Depart over the lake, turn east and head for Reno. Once across the ridge, turn north and parallel the ridge . More emergency landing options this way. Better than going swimming. This lake is deep and cold!

Great little airport. Restaurant right across the street.
I found the place to be quiet and peaceful.
I landed and camped here July 2012. I never heard a peep from the campers across the fence and there were no unwanted people on the airstrip. I did have a few kids stop by to oogle my 172 but I enjoyed the curious company. plenty of Picnic tables along the west fence, restrooms through the gate at mid field and absolute solitude. View of the lake is awesome! One water faucet down near the lake and one through the east gate mid field. Look left to see the lone faucet.

This airport gets a steady flow of traffic every day. It is the gateway to the Abacos Islands. I have only used the Cherokee FBO which is very nice.

There is nice pavement and a nice airport office building that is unattended. There are no services, no fuel and no tie downs or chocks.

It is an Edmonton city landmark and one of the earliest airports of its time. wop may was a a war hero and a great founder to this airport. he opened up the gateway to the north and delivered life saving vaccines. truly sad to be losing this history from my city due to mayor mandel. Sara

I find it highly moronic for someone to expect such "correctness" from a user-driven website. I suggest you search for official sources if such accuracy is required. However, should you wish to contribute to this website with more than useless blathering, start by clicking "about" at the bottom of this page and learn what this website has to offer. Then sign up and be constructive by picking up all those littered "airfields" and putting them in their place.
Wrong data
I find it highly irresponsible to simply publish data without verifying its correctness even if it is a public site. I was looking for Rio Sidra and found this page littered with "airfields" in San Blas and they are ALL terribly misplaced. Rather than providing highly inaccurate data it is better not to provide any. These airports are shown way inland when in fact they are all located on the coast.

what to expect at Simferopol Airport
By the standards of a former Soviet county, the airport is not bad, clean, with OK toilets, and little cafe, a very basic duty free. It could be so much more, but staff are fairly friendly, at least functional and obliging. Really nothing to do there though, no where to spend your money
