New Miami International Airport (MIA)
I use MIA weekly and I can only say the airport seems to be changing by the day!!! New beautiful architecture, great shopping stores and restaurants, the futuristic SkyTrain and MIA Mover connector to the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) on Le Jeune, the spectacular new Rental Car Center, improved service and lots of smiles (I read that all 35,000 MIA employees are being trained in customer service), construction being completed on time - and very close to budget... if you don't use MIA often, take a look at the changes in its website - what a refreshing change! When it comes to MIA - for once - I'm proud to be a Miamian!

Hospitality
Fields at Galoshkosh 2010 were pretty wet last Sat Jul 24 so forced to stay at Stevens Point. Airport staff and management were wonderful. Fuel was reasonably priced and every effort was made to accomodate the numerous semi-stranded EAA 2010 visitors. Great place to stop!

My time at Spangdahlem Air Base
I was stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base from February,1971 thru November,1973 and I would appreciate having a history of the base from that time frame . we are given away for FREE adoption.they are call Dolly(The female)
and Nelly(The male).The male is currently weighing 3.5lbs and the
female is weighing 2.75lbs but both are expected to weigh 4-4.5 lbs
when they are fully grown.They are both 12 weeks old from different
parents but have been growing up together..Our vet is good, they are
registered and micro chipped vaccinated. they have all health papers
and birth certificates. You shall have them with all these including
some toys and blankets and even a traveling crate. food menu, They
both love kids and other pets. they were born the same day but the
female is a bit bigger than the male but the male has more courage
.They are ready to go out to a good and caring home . .We are not
selling them but giving them on Free adoption to a good home.. they
need a good home where they will spend the rest of their life
happily.My husband and I just relocated to Yaounde,Cameroon where we
had our new Job and now work with W.H.O and help to fight against the
Malaria parasite especially with cases of Pregnant women that need
serious Medical attention.I know you most also be wondering why we are
also given them away.The reason we need a new and lovely home for them
is because our duty here is so time consuming,demanding and tight up
and we both work for several hours and hardly spend time loving and
caring for them as we used to before ok.So we really do need an
immediate family that will shower them with lots of Love,Care and
Attention ok I will like to know if you will be getting one or both of
them??

Tatoi airport (LGTT) is a military airport used also from flight scools from training perposies. GA flights need ppr to land at LGTT

I was there on June 3,2010 aboard Malaysia Airlines MH803 to Kuala Lumpur,but the problem is the Lounges in the Gates of the airport.Hope they will fix it

Yes - Berwick closed in 1995-96. Is now a university campus, though some remnants of the runway can stillbe seen, along with a couple of hangars.:

Yes Pakenham is now closed. A freeway runs along what was the east-west runway.

Fuel callout fee on weekends
Fuel is sold on field by Central Air. Sadly, there is a $50 callout fee on weekends now. And someone may not always be around during the week either. So make sure you have enough fuel to get home or make plans to fuel elsewhere.

Transit Trouble..
I wouldn't recommend this airport for connecting passengers... Been through here twice and the airlines in question managed to lose my luggage on both occasions.. Also, the transit areas are cramped and not very comfortable, with virtually no facilities.. Hope the new terminal is better..

Legaspi City International Airport
This international airport once finished will connect Luzon to the Visayas and probably Mindanao.It is going to be great.I really can wait to see it in operations.I can go home to my family in Ligap City every year or even every 6 months the least direct from where I am here overseas.I also think that my fellow Bicolanos from all over the world will be thinking the same as I do.

When is this going to open?I cant wait to go home to Albayflying directly from Australia to make it an easier and shorter destination and for my fellow Bicolanos and tourists from all over the world.It will surely bring a lot of jobs and tourism in the region so hopefully it is already getting closer to a finish.

I can't believe the airport is closed. It was my default airfield for Microsoft's Flight Simulator and I have landed there hundreds of times and flown to and from O'Hare airport as many times. It's a shame!

Flew there on 10th July 2010 on a Cessna 172 but Tower never answerd on 123.40 (closed for maintenance?). Then flew on to Mrmp but that appeared to be a dilapidated abandoned runway too dangerous too land. Poor co-pilot had to pee in her water bottle !

I am wondering if anyone knows of a manager or contact regarding the use of Dog Creek airport. I am a student doing a simulated prescribed burn plan for the area and I want to use the airport as our hub for fire operations.

THere is a local frequency for this airport 122,40. The runway is 17/34. It is 1.800m long. Although you can use all of it, officialy both threshold are displaced but you still have 800m.

Maryland Air (FBO)
Maryland Air is the FBO in the terminal building just NW of the approach end of Rwy 22. Visited 7/12-15/2010 in a C-182. They proved very helpful, friendly and courteous in providing rental car, a/c parking and directions. I'd use them again.
