It will be perfect when Ryanair will also offer soonest cheap flights to Radomir, which is very close to the health/spa city Kjustendil, the city of Pernik, the Blagoevgrad area, the recreational areas of lake Pchelina and lake Studena with some rural tourism and of course the City of Sofia.

omg i almost got scammed the same guy was emailing me and i set up arrangments for the puppies to me shipped out to MASSACHUSETTS and i was sooo shocked of the fee i would have to pay i thought it was the greatest deal ever $200 for two puppies soo i came home to look up the airports number and i ran into this site IM SOOO HURT AND RELIEVED AT THE SAME TIME :( :)

Nice enough airport but not if you are hungry or wish to spend some time and money in Owen Sound. No courtesy car, no bicycles. Pay for cab is only way in and back. Typical Canadian airport, town ignores it as a tourism draw. Good news is that Wiarton "CYVV" is nearby and they get it, car, bicycles, food and friendly.

I was scammed by the same guy the same time you were. We have been emailing for 3 days and i sent him money yesterday. he asked me for more money today. Glas we did our reaserch and found this site. Is there anything we can do about this?

My money is gone and apparently they are waiting on another $240 for the proper size crate. I'm so glad i found this site. I'm thankful i only lost $120. They will not get another dime of my money. His email address is hesleysylia@hotmail. Said their son has cancer and they can no longer take care of the puppies. He asked me personal questions about my lifestyle and ended most emails with "God Bless". I also reveived pictures of the puppies and a confirmation email from the airport saying my puppy was there. I wont send another penny. Counting my losses and thankful i wasn't dumb enough to send $1000.00.

I responded to this sam add. In fact I just received an email from them asking questions such as if I was married? Do I have a vet? Will the puppies have room to play, will I send them photos monthly etc. I did respond. Then I received another email, asking for my address phone # address and nearest airport. I felt in my heart that this was too good to be true. I emailed back and asked for the name of the airport so I could call them and make my own flight arrangements for the puppies. I looked up the airport and it brought me to this page. I am so glad I followed my heart and checked before looseing my hard earned money, that I earned honestly. My heart is a little broken but I have the faith that I will find the little teacup yorkie I want so badly.

Nice little airport with a restaurant on the field. A little pricey ($9 for a tuna melt) but good service and good food. They have some specialty sandwiches I should have tried...next time. Watch out for skydivers on the weekend. They never stop falling for the sky and the jump planes use the crossing runway. Listen and be alert. It is very, very busy.

Friendly airport
Flew here for a Hope Air flight today. Everyone at the airport was friendly, especially the security guard.
There are two aviation fuel suppliers at Val-d'Or, Valpiro beside the terminal and Petro-T at the south end of the runway, but only Petro-T has 100LL. There's a little Casse-Croute (snack bar) in the terminal, but I'm not sure if it's always open. Since there were no scheduled flights due, the FSS guy let me park right in front of the terminal for an hour: the Petro-T truck drove up and fueled my plane a few minutes after I called.
The phone number for Hangar-Q (Petro-T) is 819-874-7000.
Be prepared to speak French: outside of Montreal and Gatineau, it's not a safe assumption that most francophones can speak English as well.

Can't wait for beja airport to open - I have family in Alfandao and this will mean the my family wont have the long drive from lisbon. Just think can be relaxing at home within a couple of hours. Cant wait!!!!

Heavy arrival traffic, especially in the evenings. Expect to hold as long as 1 hr...yes 1 hr!
Colonia Nueva Valencia, grass strip and production site
I've been looking for this place for so long, and much to my surprise it is now clearly identified by Our Airports...
I had spotted this grass strip with Google but wasn't sure about it being the place I had visited in 1967. I was 19, ad traveled all the way up there from Buenos Aires on a single Piper Comanche with my father and two other guys, who were pilots. One of them was Cesare Preve, as the whole place, land and production site, was owned by the Frugone & Preve Ltd. My Italian-born father was manager for that company.
What memories! It was SOP before landing to overfly the site to have someone driving to the strip to pick us up, and to sweep the strip to make sure no loose cattle was around; before take off, a careful sdrive along the strip made sure that no cows could be close enough to opt for grazing across it. Sorting out unexpected quadrupeds while taking off from a soft field on a single-engine plane with four on board could make your day.
A story was told, that when the bushes were cleared up to lay down the air strip, a peaceful family of local indios, isolated and unknown to all, were found and had to be relocated somewhere else...
Not much to add, except I hope the families now living there are healthy, happy and watch their children grow up in that marvelous natural environment ... adios amigos

Lux airport is fine but.....
...feels just like a hospital.....yes, its smallness can get you to the plane quickly and back to your car/bus, the duty free is good, but customs officers look at you as if you have done something wrong, the airside bus drivers thnk they are gods, and Luxair's insistence that a phone's flight mode means it can NOT be used during flight, downgrades any hope of it being anything but a small, regional airport.

Fuel is available , both Avgas and Mogas. A variety of small aircraft including many advanced ultralights. Ski flying is popular off of groomed snow runways in the winter time. Oh it's not that narrow. A DH 125 landed and took off from there many moons ago. There's been; a MU 2, a Piaggio, Twin Otters, Queen Airs, a Lockheed 10A belonging to Air Canada, T 28 Trojans and Harvards to name a few have been into Guelph. Friendly staff and a nice restaurant with good food. The Tiger Boys also have an active museum on site.

Hello my name is Danelle I got scammed the same way and im pretty sure it was by the same people because the same thing you went threw we went threw but they promises us 2 yorkies they got us for over $1100, we paid shipping fee, crate fee, insurance fee, western union fee, they took our family threw hell, they told us our puppies died on the way to our airport....These people have to be stop i dont see how western union is still allowing these people to pickup money.
