No Southwest Airlines?
I know for a fact that Atlanta is one of Southwest Airlines' focus cities. How come Southwest Airlines doesn't appear on the routes list?
New Islamabad Airport
First priority should be to complete the Airport. It has been over 25 years since this new airport was announced. What a shame it is to our government!!! Visit any country in the world and look at their Capital's airport and then think about ours!!!! I don't care what you call it, as long as it is a modern presentable facility comparable to others in the world, we can name it any thing. Let us just complete it P L E A S E.

Parking for pickup
I am very disappointed with the arrangements for arriving passengers who are being picked up at the arrivals door. With the way the taxi parking and limo parking is laid out, there is only room for one or two cars to get to the curb to pick up a waiting passenger. At one point, I pulled into that slot beside another car because my wife was right there waiting. The taxi behind me laid on the horn. The plan for pick up has not been very well thought out and needs an overhaul!! I understand that the taxis need to be close to the arrivals door, but there has to be room for the private drivers to be close as well. I have been there several times, and I see no reason why the taxis can't line up on the far side of the pick up area directly across from the arrival gate. I've been to many airports in North America, but this one is the most unfriendly as far as arriving passengers being picked up by friends or family.

congress ncp government is utter waste they could not complete airport,wagon repair unit,bdl missile unit,dam on tapi river in amravati district of maharastra in last 5 years. god knows about the garment cluster developement in amravati, after india bulls no big company has come to amravati sez as the government is not providing the required infrastructure and facilities in amravati and amravati sez,government is doing injustice with vidarbha specially cities like nagpur,amravati,akola, etc.

May I make a suggestion. Please use 24 hour time reference. If only for one reason: there are 24 hours in a day and not 2 x 12 hours. I am looking at your arrival times for today for instance. You refer to flights landing at 12.55 pm and the next flight after that is 1.00pm which goes to prove that you are even confused yourselves! after 12h00 should be 13h00, 14h00 etc because there is no way that anyone can be confused by this. Do you even know what pm and am stands for? it is latin and I am sure that not one of you can speak this language. Most Italians can not even speak it. Lastly, there is a very good reason why armies world wide use 24 hours a day time reference.

Strange
Seems strange that one soul with nothing to do is accused of ALL the negative postings about Aldinga when one only has to read the postings to understand that there is without doubt more than one soul with nothing to do posting comments. Postings that say it as it is about the joint based and with facts and Truth.
Facts and Truths by aviators who have been burnt and at times abused by the operators, tenants at that.
The present operators have turned Aldinga into a beautiful place but it is sadly tarnished by their crappy outlook towards most aviators in South Australia and not to mention their self appointed Industry Policeman attitude and are quick to run to the Authorities and Dob people in.
Sadly the bad attitude toward Australian Aviators seems to stem from one twisted soul who think that they own the place.
Aldinga is owned by a Company, Aldinga Aviation Pty Ltd, comprised of shareholders and these righteous people only lease the premises to operate the Flying School which as many of us understand that they regard Australian Aviators as having a bad culture and the bloke has come to Australia from the great? United Kingdom and has clearly stated that Australians have a bad flying culture and that he intends to change it. Strange that is it not? Clearly demonstrates their Attitude.
Oh and by the way, the posting re Local Accommodation and Dining facilities has the hallmark of the coffee shop owner. Self praise and self promotion.

I was born in early 90's near kampi samaki at a village called meisori which lies at the showers of lake baringo near Kampi samaki Airstrip,the place is so nice has good tourist attraction that includes birdwatchin,boat ride,island camping in the midst of the lake and so much more visit the area and have a look of your own.

Change of name
Right now, this airport is called "Tököl Airport" and is a civilian, private airport with AFIS. It used to be a military airbase jointly used by Hungarian Airforce and Soviet Airforce at which time it was indeed known as Tököl Air Base, but it was more than two decades ago.

Need for Business and Internation Air Travel
It is Situated near to my village - Sendamangalam which is known for kings rule and it is the capital city of chera nadu but it is not known by many. it is beautiful and God Ishwer temple is there. Ulundurpet is one of cities in tamilnadu for trade and business. When there is Domestic Airport then the State will have Its growth and no one can defeat us. Airport can be used for airforce training etc...

Complaint
This was my first time to Kenge, even though the airport was spectacularly spunge not one person said flenge, genge or henge! I must admit I was looking for more menge mixed with some tenge sprinkled with some wenge..
Having said that, Basten Twange was on hand to offer ample amounts of lenge and he even had a pint of senge with me.
Does any of this make sense to anyonge?

7. Parachute jumpers are expected to land on the area marked on LDG chart.
8. For take-off and landing other power driven aircraft activity is expected to use the parallel runway, which is not used for glider towing.
9. Parking space for aircraft is available in front of the hangar. For other parking possibilities prior permission is required from the aerodrome operator or other authorized person.
10. Aerodrome may be entirely or partly closed due to various events. Check availability (NOTAM) before the flight and observe special caution.

It's of great sadness that I read in today's Beeld 29 Jan 2014 of the tragic accident in which Piet Smit fellow aviator and owner of Aviators Paradise died in a plane crash shortly after take off at Wonderboom airport. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P.

Not What I Expected
I landed but there was no jetway to main terminal - or in this case an old house that looked like something out of Green Acres. I waited for my luggage to arrive but apparently there was no ground crew working that day. Coming from Indiana, I am accustomed to things being a little "backward", but I was not prepared for my encounter with the owner of the airport - CCP. I was wanting to get on my way but he kept going on with stories about meeting Mohammed Ali, and drinking Aquavit with Victor Borgia, and slam jamming some kinda vertical banjo at some German place in his old college town... he went on and on about his boyhood life and adventures in Norway, and cliff diving off the coast of Fredonia, and all the girls he fell in love with and on and on and on and on..... aiy yi yi!!!
