there are no scheduled flight to Springbok, you will have to fly to Cape Town and hire a car, or you have to charter a plane. Springbok is only a small town with a small airport.

She claim to have bought the dog to a shipping company and then sent payment info. First why would you bring the dog to.a.shipping company and.then ask.for payment!! Normally a person will ask for payment before they bring their pet! I googled all information sent.and.Scam.is written all over it!

I wrote the senior manager for aerodromes and facilities in South Africa and he says "Olifants is not a licensed aerodrome therefore I cannot confirm their locator". So there is no ICAO ident for this airport. Now what?

I dont understand why there have to be a certain amount to have to get toa flight. People are not getting on flights because they don't have 1850. Alot of people have lost their jobs. They are hungry and all the money they have is what is on them. As long as they have a flight they should be able to fly.

Unfortunately, one of our cases had been opened en route to the aircraft after check in. This was noticed on arrival at Gatwick. On unpacking our cases, we discovered that souvenire maps and Valley of the Kings Booklet and Valley of the Queens booklet and dynesty information and map of the Nile had been removed from our case. No other item in the case was taken. As these were of great sentimental value and reminder of our trips, we were very disappointed that these items were taken from our case as they had been intended for our children.

Reply to @ptomblin: From what I've been told Olifants never had an ICAO ident. FAOR was used for a now decommissioned airport. So I don't know what we can now use for Olifants.

Asossa has a ground frequency for the apron that the UN uses as a normal ground to air frequency when they arrive and depart.
It is unmanned and should be called upon on 125,9 as for all unmanned airports in Ethiopia.

My Point of view on Bangboka Airport
This airport could be good if DRC could ensure the Bushes at arround the runway are cut down. Since aproach is always a problem mainly when visibility if low. This makes difficult approach to crew in terms of the hight of trees and bamboos...

I arrived at Khartoum airport with great happiness after 12 year's abroad from my home land Africa. But after I arrived it changed to the worst day of my life, I arrived with all right documents and visa from Sudan embassy in uk. With out any reason I refused to inter to Khartoum. I guas the reason may be I am African or corrupted officers. I have senn non African passengers they go through with out any problem. But I left Khartoum just after one hour from my arrival with disrespects staff uneducated.i fill sorry forthem. And sham on them just like animals. I don't know if they are in21st century. There are many things to say about them but for now animals is enough.

Back in 1970; I used to go to swimming at a pool club located not far from Chileka airport. There I would get ice pops to help cool off from the blistering heat. They were called "Penny cools" and well worth the price.

Waiting for plane from Presision Air to Dar s Salam we heard informal that a plane to the airport was crashed. We heard Nothing from airport people, no annoncements of delays or cancellings. Bad information. Many passengers were waiting and missed connections. Poor communications of the airport !!!
