I believe there is nothing to say about its appreciation but i would suggest it should be international in real as i don't think any international flights are flying from Multan. I think the reason being is there is no load of people flying to or from Multan. But being a city that is famous for mangoes specially and for it's sweet called sohan halwa there has need to make it international so that we could transport them easily without any hassle of sending them to big cities like lahore, islamabad or karachi. Finally i would like to say Multan is the biggest city in the southern Punjab. Surrounded by many well known cities like Bahawalpur,khanewal,muzafargarh,D.G khan and many others so taking all those cities into notice and looking at their population we should think there needs to have some real International Airport. So the people will not have to travel all the way to Lahore, islamabad or karachi and they will fly right from their neighbouring city.

Kingfisher is running it flight daily for the last 5 years, Spice jet launched it new Q400 Turbo ATR from Tuticorin-Chennai daily, from DEC2011, these two flights are very much suceessfull, They can introduce one between Coimbatore and Tuticorin, sur it will have patronage.

Good thing that old airport closed. It was too small, difficult approach, and short runway. It couldn't be expanded because of building surrounding the airport. So it was replaced by the new airport in 2004 and is following a similar fate as Kai Tak Airport, to be redeveloped into something else. And have any pictures of the passenger terminal and facilities?

a very beautiful airport with green scenery of the "airport in the jungle" concept. clear announcement made with local dialects, english, mandarin tamil and arabic.

I am also facing the same issue with my wife. They are asking for a Filipino who is a resident of Malaysia to raise a invitation letter. Frankly, i do not know anyone in such capacity moreover no strange would stick their head to guarantee another stranger. This procedure is so full of shit! The Phil embassy in malaysia have no right to stop a Malaysian in his own country to invite his wife to his homeland. For GOD sake, this is my dam country!!!!

The airport website is not updated at regular intervals. It is suggested that the authorities should ensure that the arrival and departures are updated at least every half an hour if not then and there!!!
