At departure loung 3/17/2013

A complaint at Clark Int'l Airpoton on the man white hair!he's not wearing any name tag, one whi is assigned at this very hour 5 am of march 17,2011, treated us unkindly. We were caught with Swiss knife, it was confiscated. We asked the Air Asia OIC if we could get it back and have it checkend in. Everyone in the departure screening said it was okay to checked in the Swiss knife, but this man answered rudely, "next time...bla..bla...bla" we already apologized. He had so many comments. We asked for what to do next after we cleared the Swiss knife, he answered "bumalik kayo sa immigration, tignan natin kung makabalik kayo" ( go to immigration and let us see if you can pass) , he answered with a threatening voice. I hope he will be givel any sanction.

New York to Bacolod-Silay Airport direct flight

By the way, when could be the time that there's a flight direct from New York to Bacolod-Silay Airport? I just hate going to Manila, nothing good to see, masyado kagamo, kagagmay sang mga dalan. Even a stop over on Hongkong or Japan basta direct to Bacolod-Silay ang next flight it will be a great welcome

Handcarry Weight - Departure Area

I've been to Europe, Australia and other Asian countries, pero d2 lang sa ating bansa ganito. It's more fun in the Philippines".

re: Travel

It's funny how the Philippine government don't realize the impact of a good airport in attracting more foreigners. Regardless of the tourist spots we have, if the impression is always bad when they were welcomed at the airport, we can never go far. Found an infographic at philippineairportmemes.tumblr.com on why Philippine airports suck. Very interesting read.

Lengthening of the runway

Common sense tells that as long as the runway is SHORT and cannot accommodate larger planes with more passengers, no airline will land international flights to Bacolod-Silay Airport, because it will not be commercially profitable! What are those who are in charge of the Bacolod-Silay Airport waiting for? LENGTHEN THE RUNWAY AND NEGOTIATE WITH THE AIRLINES!

Picture of

re: DMIA

this is encouraging... my flight is in a couple of days and im so nervous... well youre right if you have all complete docs theres nothing to worry about! Thanks!

re: DMIA

For all you people out there worried about the immigration officials at Clark, you need to get your girl to go to Manila and obtain a CFO, it costs 400 peso and takes about 2 hours to get, once she has that also go to City Hall offices near Marquee Mall and get an afidavit signed there saying younwill take care of her on your trip 500 peso, also a hotel voucher, 10000 peso pocket money, if you get all these requirements then she will pass through no problems, my gf had new passport and never travelled before, we got all these documents together and when at Clark they see this and she pass through no problems, even the miserable bastos guy managed a smile, so do you homework and get proper documents dont expect to travel with out the proper paperwork because it will not happen i can tell you that for sure.

Picture of

DMIA

Hi it's me again. I just got through the immigration. I'm traveling alone. They didn't ask anything. The immigration officer didn't even talk to me. She just stamped on my passport. Btw the 1st floor sucks. The 2nd floor is nice :) not bad :)

Parallel Taxiway

i wish the government will push through this important segment of the airport, this is one of the reason why other foreign airline refused to fly in Davao because of lack of a parallel taxiway, they can turn 360 degrees on the tip of the runway and it cause any unwanted damage in the wheel area...i hope the government will build this ASAP because Davao Airport meet already its passenger capacity and it grows rapidly...It needs expansion ASAP

Picture of

diosdadao airport philippines

Paano nila magiging kasalanan yun? Explain mo nga?

It's everyones choice kung anung gagawin nila abroad.

:

Kung mapahamak man sila .

Picture of

LoL

Reply to @everbefore:

He does not deserve the position! He needs to be kicked out of there as soon as possible. If all these stories are true, he is an ego tripping, lowly, insecure individual who does not deserve any public service position at all...

re: DMIA IMMIGRATION OFFICERS Philippines

Well i think someone must make a Page on FAcebook Regarding on whats happening at the DMIA airport and who are those Immigration Officer..

that way they will be more front in the net.

and someone may easily check the page...

maybe that way the Government will act.

Picture of

DMIA IMMIGRATION OFFICERS Philippines

at makikipag kwentuhan sa kapwa niya I.O

tapos bandang huli papipirmahin niya yung garrantor nung paalis.

sabay kuha nung owwa mo.

in Short pinayagan ka nga.. dikanaman makakaalis ..

kaya sila nag hihigpit.

re: Rude and arrogant

Has things improved at Clark with officers allowing filipina to travel with foreign guys?????????????? please leave comments,

Picture of

Rude and arrogant

There is a grossly rude and sickeningly arrogant immigrations officer with the last name of MATIBAG. This man has serious issues. There is a always a way of saying things in a way that will not humiliate a person, but this creton clearly does/did not have the fortune of having parents that would have taught him that. I hope he meets his match and/or get caught in his act real soon. He is one good example of someone who's having a smidge of power and clearly abusing it.
