Seems to be getting worse

Flew out of Clark this AM as I have done for the past 9 months every week. Counted over 20 persons lined up to be interrogated behind the immigration booths. In fact it seems once your in this position, the chances are you will be off loaded. Even the Cebu Pac/ Miascor groundstaff was removing the pax boarding cards, as I guess she knows there going to be off loaded from experience

I would like to keep my anonymity but I would like this to be known to the public. That this person (whose photo is attached herewith) is Immigration Officer MICHAEL VINCENT DIZON. This person has caused a lot of inconvenience, humiliation, and trauma to travelers, especially those going out of the country for the first time. He is the MOST RUTHLESS, INCOMPETENT, RUDE, AND THE MOST POWER-TRIPPING OFFICER there is. He's not worthy to be placed in a post where customer service is required since he doesn't have what it takes to be of service to the public. He has the worst attitude there is (as supported by the link posted in regards to bad reviews conducted).

The public is begging the powers that be to please, and I mean PLEASE do something about this power-tripping officer.

Please check on the link to prove my (and everyone's) claim. As what the other passenger has written, and I quote: "HE IS A DISGRACE TO THE COUNTRY" The public has spoken. NOW LET IT BE KNOWN...

THANK YOU!

denied exit by immigration

it is with pain that i'm writing this story. my niece was to board her first flight in her life, to come and stay with us for a month. but unfortunately she was denied exit from the country as if she was a criminal or worst.

so many personal questions were asked, beyond the limits of personal privacy, and despite having all papers in order, she had to go back home. now what happened to the good all democracy and freedom in the Philippines? is it becoming a privilege of few political actors or what. or if this is the way to go, why the Immigration check is not performed at the Travel agency where you purchase your tickets. who is going to refund the money spent (and lost) for this procedure? does anybody cares. Is anybody at the BI considering giving a receipt showing exactly the reasons for stopping people, or is it done on purpose to allow the duty immigration officer to "control" the situation? Does the BI having an agreement with the airlines that will allow full reimbursement of the ticket to the passengers in cases such the one of my niece? of course not...who cares. my niece is just above 30 and surely not victim of "illegal trafficking" nor, illegal employment, neither having a court ruling against her. and where is the right to ignore the "visa " stamped on her passport and released by a foreign embassy. does the BI believes other countries will allow people in so easy? Or Bi believes everybody is corrupted? should we go deeper into that issue? please meditate, it might happen to you as well, immigration officers included.

i was one of the 12 passenger who were uploaded so sad, that we had hotel voucher and receipt, and some necessary documents to support, but he ask me a contract of work here in phils? i didnt know that its a necessary to bring thus my company id and certification was there, and they are killing the time, no worrying about the other passengers, sad to say we were not yet interview, but airasia left us already. i asked to some officer sir, the airlines left us already but the two interviewer just said "mgreklamo kayo sa airline nio kasi sila ngiwan" my god being a public servant you dont have to be so hyprocrite thus u have to explain well to the passenger, wag yung improkito pagkasagot!! nasayang lang po ung hotel bookings, book on airasia na pinaghirapn ko po ipunin ung ipon ko bilang public servant then sa pinas, i felt so threaten and i was so devastated on that painful experience and it was total chaos, because im so excited on my trip :( , but totally lost bec. of a contract of work na hindi ko nadala..kya na uploaded

SUccessful :D

Isa ako sa mga nagpost dito last time. and now Im already here in HK. My bf and I went to the immigration counter together. I chose a young IO . the one that is cute and charming. They are the two boys on the left side of the counter. Here are the questions asked:

1) magka-ano ano kayo? (What is your relationship with each other?)

--- BF ko po sya.(He's my Boyfriend)

2) Alam ba ng parents nyo yan at ilang taon na ba kayo?(Did your parents know about this trip and how old are you?)

---Oo naman po, we're both 22.(Oh yes, we're both 22)

3) nagpa-book ba kayo ng hotel? (Do you have hotel accomodation/confirmation?)

---Yes(I presented our hotel confirmation)

4) Ano mga work nyo dito? (What are your jobs here?)

---BF: Ako po Key Entry(I am a Key entry clerk in UPS)

---me: I am an ESL Teacher for Kurikongs po then I laughed hahaha!

After that some unnecessary but funny questions. It's like we had a good conversation on the immigration officer, he was laughing about my jokes. It was a smooth encounter all in all. Thank God.

TIPS:

dress smart

greet them goodmorning/good afternoon

smile a lot :)

re: clark airport

Tourist must go throug CFO? And other things to show etc... Etc...etc.......why it has to be so complicating...why do we have to be deprived from our rights? ...what if someone has only few weeks left on his life and wants to enjoy his last few days on a tour outside the country...must bring the doctor to IO to explain to them isn't it? It such a shame for co Filipinos like them..for we are all known for our hospitable traits and bayanihan...so where's the bayanihan if keep on pulling each other down and don't even give any chances...there must have something to do about it...I am praying for this...for all of us to have clear way out to have our dream vacations...and for people my fellow Filipino countrymen who wants to try their luck in other

countries..

re: disappointed but not shocked!

Ill keep you posted what ever happen on my flight next week. :) It's ok if they'll ask questions about me and my bf. I prepared a lot for the possible questions that they would ask me. Yup, Ill just bring a copy of my certificate of employment.. hehe Thanks.

Lack of Flights

i hope bacolod-silay city international airport add direct flights to/from davao and general santos to ease the difficulties to find a flight here in negros occidental.

i hope also bacolod-silay city international airport have a direct flights to/from hongkong and singapore.

Picture of

re: disappointed but not shocked!

i guess not, if sabihin man kasi nila na they will call your office sabihin mo n lang ung totoong malamang sarado pa, so walang sasagot.. Just to make sure, mag dala kayo ng certificate of employment, para wala ng butas.. I'm not sure kung maniniwala silang friends lang kayo, o kaya if u want pwede nio naman sabihin ang totoo, kaso baka mas ma interrogate kau.. keep the forum updated sana, para maka tulong ka din sa iba after your encounter with the Clark IO's.. :)

re: first travel success

Picture of

re: disappointed but not shocked!

Hehe.. maniniwala kaya sila na friends lang kami? dalawa lang kasi kami na magkasama... hmm/ yup , Ill bring my company ID with me.. Another question is, will they confirm our employment in our office? will they call our company for verifications?maaga kasi ang flight namin.. 7am flight, its too early, wala pang tao sa office so walang makaka answer ng phone. BTW, my office is just near CLark airport .. Im working inside clark. :) Thanks for your replies..

first travel success

hello guys. share ko lang experience ko sa immig sa clark. october 4 flight ko to bangkok. kasama ko anak ko. dun s immigration card, i checked visit relatives. them dun na sa booth, i presented

1. passport namin ng anak ko

2. round trip ticket namin to and from bangkok. then ticket namin to hat yai. dun kasi nakatira cousin ko.

3. invitation letter ng cousin ko

4. passport copy ng cousin ko

5. work permit ng cousin ko

so, first question ng IO, ano trabaho mo online, nagtuturo k ba online? sabi ko hindi. nag.bibuild po ako ng websites. sabi nya ok. next question nya, hindi kayo kasal? sabi ko hindi. hindi kasi kasal nung ama ng bata. then last question nya, sigurado ka anak mo to ha? hindi pamangkin? sabi ko opo, anak ko po yan. may birth cert ako dito. so hiningi nya yung BC. tiningnan nya ng maigi yung BC.. tapos nun.. tinatakan na nya ung passport namin.

Tips lang guise: be confident. huwag pahalata n nervous kayo. speak politely.

dahil nga paranoid ako, before flight ko.. pinaprint ko pa bank statement ko and dinala ko rin yung contract ko sa online job ko. kahit n fake yung pirma dum. hahaha buti, hindi humingi ng proof of employment. cguro swerte yung trip ko kasi may dalang anak. masa mdali dw kasi pag may dalang bata.

re: Help 1st timer in Clark Airport

Very simple solution

Record the face and name of the BI officer who treats you with disrespect and denies you travel.

Wait for him outside the DMAIA Administration gate, where there is zero security there

Get some pals to beat the living crap out of him and tell him if he or any of his BI pals do it again, they will be followed to their homes.

Word will spread fast and they will stop their nonsense immediately. Pampanga is a lot harder to hide in than Manila for these BI assholes.

Help 1st timer in Clark Airport

Hi I'm flying to Singapore via Clark for the first time. It's my first time to go out of this country using this airport. I'm usually using Manila. Nagdecide ako na ito ang gamitin kasi ito na pinakamura since peak ang December. I'm flying to SG on Dec. 25 going back to the Philippines January 13 pa. I'm still a student though traveling alone to Singapore since mga kasama ko mauuna. I have lots of travel history and marami na rin akong visa sa passport ko (US,Korea,Taiwan,China and still waiting for Australia). I'll be going to Australia din from Singapore Dec. 31 to January 12:). Any comments on what I need to present to them? Do I need to bring my transcript of record or whatever.

Comment on Bacolod-Silay Airport

The Bacolod-Silay Airport is a domestic airport, however it was designed to international standards and extending the runway is very feasible because the site was planned to accommodate this. Further the passenger terminal may be retrofitted to have features to meet demands for additional passengers,customs/immigration offices among others to cater to international flights in the future.

Picture of

re: disappointed but not shocked!

anong visa po inapplyan nyo that time?

Picture of

re: re: What made Bacolod-Silay Airport and "International"?

yes it is a wasted opportunity they should just go ahead & extend the runway say 700 meters and a new international terminal and they will come ,, the turists with a year of aggresive international advertizing at times the new facility will be full like in october for the famous massaara BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME !

re: re:Worried

Reply to @buset: Yes, in any airport, you will be asked for a proof of relation, so you have to prepare birth certificates. Since you're not really related to the person, I think it is better to provide them a hotel accommodation, so they'll know you'll not be palaboy in HK.I'm not really sure if it is a good idea to claim that you're visiting a friend, I think they'll still ask for different docs or proofs. Maghahanap talaga sila ng butas para hindi ka makaalis. Ganun sila.

DMIA- IO Read the contents of passport!!!!

Sana talaga ibahin na lang sistema para walang masayang, pass the immigration first then buy a ticket!!! Airline industries, you have to do your part with this case, mga parokyano nyo naapektuhan. IO @ Clark, MAHIYA naman kyo!!! Basahin nyo ang nakatatak sa passport, @ the back of the front page.

" Pahintulutang makaraan ng malaya at walang sagabal at kung kailangan ay pag ukulan sya ng tulong at proteksyon ayon sa batas." Irony here, Immigration Officers ang SAGABAL!!!
