Lived here when my Dad (PAF) was stationed here, circa 1962-65; lived in a Quonset hut....fond memories of pilots (Filipinos and U.S. servicemen) doing their first solo flights and getting "baptized" with a pail of water (with the obligatory goat poop and kids' pee) after which, they have to treat everyone with pineapple pie bought at a bakery in town. As Filipino Citizen, may karapatan naman siguro tayong mag travel wherever we want pero syempre dun sa mga countries na hindi safe understood na hindi tayo pwedeng pumunta don pero like if kagaya ko, may friends ako to visit to UAE and my cousin is there pero di padin ako pinalusot sa immigration. I have supporting documents bank statements and everything. Daig mo pa ang pulis kapag nang i-interrogate yang mga immigration officer na yan.

Ability to support disaster recovery with larger fixed wing aircraft.
Increased tourism.
An additional runway between Tagbilaran and Ubay would be a good future project.
