Why is Toronto International Airport not customer friendly
It is always a pain to fly back into Toronto Airport despite the fact that it is an image builder for the city and country for so many visitors. First it is an expensive airport so the fees you pay are already one of the highest in the world. Second it is usually miles to walk from the plane up escalators, down escalators in a bland corridors and vast rooms. then you come to the immigration where the clueless personel trying to make orderly lines make you walk much further than necessary as necessary in a snake rather than individual lines. Then the insult of arriving after tiring journey and being asked to faddle about and pay $2 for a luggage cart. This last item is one of my tests for a civilised country. Most airports that I have visited mainly Europe offer free carts. Clearly Toronto airport is greedily money oriented rather than making customers happy. This really leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I am ashamed of Toronto airport because of its snivelling attitude. Try looking at airport users as humans you want to impress. It may be the most improved airport in Canada but it is still bottom of the pile.

Well well, the Boland is up and coming. This should make life a lot easier for people going in that direction in the future. Will take off a lot of frustration getting out of Cape Town and on the way. Maybe rugby getting a boost up that way?

nitish sir jis hisab se modernisatin ho raha hai,aab jaruri hogaya ki muzaffarpur mein ek airport ho becoz muz is the capital of north bihar,many business people of sutapatty goes to surat,ahmedabad,bhilwada,delhi....by frm plane litchi also sent to other place in minimum tme....

maharastra governement and it's company madc( maharastra airport developement company) are focused on shirdi airport and solapur airport why not amravati airport, on the website of madc they have specially mentioned about the stage of developement of these airports, see it shows that how the officials of madc are afraid of western maharastra leader. everything about the solapur and shirdi airport is specially mentioned seperately mentioned on the website, this what happens in maharastra that's why there is no developement in vidhrbah ex: nagpur,amravati,chandrapur,akola,wardha etc.
government is not developeing vidharbha as it is developeing and giving funds to western maharastra,government is always partial with vidharbha that's people are asking for a seperate state of vidharbha

amravati airport work, amravati narkhed line, amravati sez,amravati nagpur 4 laning of nh-6,textile park in amravati sez,rail wagon repair factory etc, please inform the government of maharastra to complete these works as early as possible. amravati sez is still waiting for the industries as the email address is not working which is the only option to contact amravati sez. only a missile unit and a thermal power plant has acquired the land in the sez.

While visiting the area, my two sons and I met Denis Berin the chief pilot at the Nuits Saint Georges airport. 2012 fees update
It's been four years since I flew into Dulles, so I called Signature (1-703-572-0001) for a fees update for a piston single. They're still extremely reasonable for an FBO at a major airport:
Ramp fee: $30 (waived with minimum 8 gal fuel purchase)
Landing: $10.04
Parking: $20.92/night
Customs: no fee
Staff estimated that a taxi into DC would cost $100, and a compact rental car is $45/day.

Hi, The airport is still in use, But not busy, Its a entertain airport,
Name Change
It is now called Castle Mountain with the same 48AK identifier (Private). Freq is 122.95. Slight downhill landing west. The runway is actually 10/28 instead of the 12/30 listed. Grass in good condition.

Very scenic and great runway surface
beautiful approach over the water, there is a maintenance facility but the airport is usually pretty empty.
mostly floatplanes and taildraggers on the field, there is limited good parking for tricycle geared planes the dirt surfaces look like they go to mud in the rain.

I had a penge time at Kenge Airport! It is full of spenge people and the airplengers were pure luxury. When I arrived, I was greeted by Basten Twange who gave me a guided tour of the airport.
All in all Kenge airport is denge, with ample twenge.

New Islamabad Airport
Gandhara international airport Islamabad ; was more appropriate. A spot light on 1000's years history of this place
Memphis Airport - an okay place.
Spent three hour layover at Memphis International Airport - Home of FEDEX. This was a really simple place to navigate and, for an airport, it was immaculate. I have seldom seen such shiny floors. Restrooms were all clean and well serviced. I have heard lots of negative things about Memphis so I was not looking forward to this stop. Fortunately they were mostly myths. The only real negatives were the Delta employees. Everyone to the man seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. Snippy to the point of RUDE. But...that was only Delta employees. Everyone else was unusually polite and friendly. Shopping was pretty good for an airport and there were many varieties of food vendors. All in all, not a bad stop...next time I will fly someone other than Delta.

Worked there (1952-1955) in the tower as air traffic controller. Highway 1 went through the middle of the base then. It can still be seen in the map. Had 5 or 6 blimps then. Located between runways 31 & 25. Watched the transition from radial engines to jets. Used to request the jets to make a low pass down the runway when traffic was light. One woke everybody in the barracks across the road one Sunday morning.

I had a flarking good time in the Duty Frenge section and the
securitenge guards were really monge.
Only area of slight criticism is I would have liked to have seen
some more flunge available. I like flunge.

A fun place to fly, GREAT FBO! Had a starting problem and the local mechanic dropped everything he was doing to help, got plane started so I could go home...

FBO open 8a-8p, 356 days. Fabulous staff, crew car available. Hangared my plane here 2 years, often lowest fuel prices in Piedmont area.
