The problem with the last person who posted, is clearly they have the lowest of low standards in fact no standards! I sit here at ORTIA awaitng news on an SA airways from Dubai (not a small airport, or an unknowns airline to ACSA or I hope SAA and guess what? Yip that's right no info....come on ACSA CATCH A WAKE UP!!!! To think you played a part in the World Cup. Got to go now, as I have a SMS from my wife to say she has landed.....buy the way she a a shit lot more reliable thanks ACSA. I HOPE THIS POST MAKES IT CLEAR HOW CRAP YOUR SERVICE IS...SORRY WHAT SERVICE...... At lease this helped to kill time! Just emagin if the flight was delayed how much more I could have added. I wouldn't land here again. The runway is in poor shape. There are large trees at the north end which present a disconcerting challenge.
There are much nicer airparks in the area.

Wow.... I trained at 4 flying schools and with about 6 different trainers before ending up at Bi-Planes and I certainly have no hesitation in recommending them. The people are just sooo nice and the trainers have been the best. I understand that you cant please all the people, all of the time but in the time I have been there, they have certainly pleased me. I certainly havent seen double standards... only a professional standard from the owners down.

International?
Bacolod-Silay International Airport will indeed be true to its name if there will be international flights to Bacolod-Silay Airport, because of a steady stream of tourists, businessmen, sportsmen and students, etc, who will come to Negros. Surely the opportunities are abundant, though hotels and lodging facilities, etc. need to be upgraded to international standards. Bacolod is quite clean. There is a need for aggressive advertisement to these effect. But until now the airport runway is short! The aircon in the pre-departure area does not work! The pre-departure area is quite small compared to the volume of passengers, thus it is crowded! Should there not be an annex building? What happened to the approved plan to extend the runway by 500 meters to accommodate the bigger Airbus 330? At present the runway length is even shorter than that of Cagayan de Oro!
What does the latest census or survey say as to what countries the visitors to Negros come from? Then the international budget airlines can link Bacolod to those countries/cities.

I never saw the airport, but Mariazell was a fun day-trip from Vienna, esp. during the ski season. Went there several times (by train) during the winter of 72-73.

maharastra government has approved the the airport in 2008 -2009 it no work has started on amravati airport this slow process of the government is alo affecting the industrial growth of amravati city i.e 5 start midc amravati multiproduct sez near nandgaon peth eldeco company was supposed to develope this sez because of the maharastra government's policies they have given back around 1000 hectare of land back to midc (maharastra industrial developement corporation) which is very famous for not developeing the industries where there are less industries, if the ministers of the region are very powerful then only the industries come to those places,cities in maharastra otherwise midc is good for nothing that's why the peopel of amravati were having hopes as it is declaired as sez but then again the government has withdrawn the incentives declaired earlier for amravati sez that's why the comapnies are not taking much interest to set up a plant in amravati sez.
again bad news for people and younger generation of vidharbha and amravati region.

I was scammed yesterday! was lead to beleive i was buying a ragdoll kitten from Waterlooville hampshire UK emailed the people.. who emailed back to tell me they were in 12 berryden road,peterhead,Aberdeenshire,ab42 2fe .. and could delvery the kitten via pet carrier... Steven and carol who sold the kitten put me incontact with Jarvis Powell the pet carrier . who i paid ... but i paid a Kevin Mkonghoyo in douala Cameroon! no kitten no money ! was sucked in! but we have their mobiles and a land line number for cameroon ! as jarvis called us from it when my hubby tried to ask for the money back! Hampshire police ( uk) have all the details and i copied all their add and re listed them on the web sires as a scam! these people need to be stopped!

We like to fly in to this little airport to have a $100 coke and take their old courtesy cruiser into Artesia and eat at the Wellhead. Great old movie theatre with current movies for $3! Fun cheap date with your wife if you don't count the fuel.
