Plans to close
With the lost funding, the Sifton family is fairly certain they'll have to close Buttonville in a few years:

about the aiport at Squamish
there is nothing there
Great place for lunch
It's a very nice airport that you can approach a lower than usual altitude on final and get a good short-field landing. Park and walk up the road to a couple of places for lunch. The place across the street is excellent. This place is my favorite destination.
Andover
It has a nice park attached to it. Bring food and drinks (nothing to buy there) and enjoy the view of the lake and the little Piper Cubs landing on the grass runway. It's a great place to practice short field landings. There is water on both ends, so you can come rather low and cross the threshold lower that usual. All times I have been there, I never used more than half the runway for a complete stop.
Derevyannoe
Probably closed.
Hey....Wickenheiser Airport...love it!
Wickenheiser Airport..Tell me more about your Airport..and how it came to be.. drop me a note.
Todd Wickenheiser, Golden B.C. Canada.
Excellent small airfield
Has at east 330 flyable days in the year.
The "only" reason the airfield may be closed is for strong NE gusting wind Bora.
Use low and powered approach path to Rwy 13 in this case; abort landing soon and divert to the right ASAP in such case (rotor at the and of Rwy13).
Take-off on Rwy31 even if the wind comes a bit tail; there are strong rotors at the end of Rwy13 creating gusting downwash and a lot of turbulence.
They have aliens
Aliens are housed here in kennels and pens. They are shuttled in at night to avoid detection.
re: Right name
Reply to @david: Ok, I can see now. (and understand the site and the page). IΒ΄ve moved the heliport position at the right site.
Don't miss CHAA
Tillsonburg is the home of the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, which has a fleet of seven Harvards, a Yale and a Tiger Moth. Definitely worth checking out their aircraft and hangers the next time you're in town.
re: re: Wrong spell it is Nashik not Nasik
Reply to @dide: Thanks. Do you happen to have latitude/longitude information for the two other airports?
re: IΒ΄m not sure
Reply to @ptomblin: OK, I've moved the airport to that location -- it looks reasonable. Haven't changed the runway yet.
re: Right name
Reply to @choppergb: thanks. I've moved "HAT" to the local identifier field (so that it appears at the top of the right sidebar, and will show up in searches, etc.), translated the name back into English, and put the Spanish name in the keywords field (it shows up at the bottom of the right sidebar). I'll do the same for the other heliports.
Lovozero
Now civil airport for small planes and helicopters.
re: IΒ΄m not sure
Reply to @choppergb: You're right, there is definitely a more obvious airport at that location, and it is closer to Yapeyu city.
IΒ΄m not sure
IΒ΄m not sure, but for Yapeyu web pages the aeroclub is close to Yapeyu city ( 29Β°26'38.96"S 56Β°49'24.90" W) .
The MADHEL (book the airport and heliport Argentina) say rwy 04/22 but that runway isnΒ΄t 04/22 may be 16/34.

Reply to @david: Hi, IΒ΄m the pilot (Transener pilot, and all the Transener heliport is under my responsability ). No problem with the helipad, is far away to the high-voltage lines.

Reply to @choppergb: Thanks for the update. I'm not sure where to move the marker to, but please feel free to use the "Edit" tab and drag the marker to the right spot.
re: Real name
Reply to @choppergb: Moved and renamed.
re: Real name
Reply to @choppergb: Thanks for the help! I moved the marker to what looks like a helipad, though I can't imagine the pilot who would want to land on a helipad that close to a transformer station and high-voltage lines, especially in a wind! Let me know if that's the right position.
Is the HMT the transformer station designator? So it would be "Transener S.A. (HMT) Heliport" in English?
re: Right name
Reply to @choppergb: So into English, would that be "Transener S.A. HAT Heliport"? Does "HAT" stand for something, or is it part of the name?
Beautiful
Has the most beautiful little cottage looking houses I've seen in a long time. The water is a searingly beautiful redolent blue. Not like the Bahamas, even MORE blue.
