Air Kotta
A small airfield popular with gyrocopters, RAA aircraft, GA aircraft and crop dusters. Model aeroplanes fly here occasionally, and model rockets. Rabbit hunting is available on local landcare plantation. Yabbies are caught in large dam nearby.Camping is available, tie down area, bring own pegs, shower and flushing toilet, bbq.
Nice facility
I recently landed at Dwight with my C340.
I was very surprised at the high terrain and trees at the approach end of 27 and 02.
The grass is not smooth but tufts of grass separated by dirt. Still very safe but noisy .
Be careful at the approach END of 27 as it is sandy and soft. I got stuck but very helpful workers towed me out.

Good to upgrade
Since Bohol has limited options for aircraft, improvements to Ubay is a good thing.
Emergency landings for bigger planes.
Ability to support disaster recovery with larger fixed wing aircraft.
Increased tourism.
An additional runway between Tagbilaran and Ubay would be a good future project.

I have notice that the information page for Navigation for TVSA is missing. For example TVSA VOR information is missing, while other nearby airports VOR are listed. Is TVSA VOR inop? This A-hole luggage scanners will get what they want it your luggage because they have personal interest. i already travel my luggage with the same things inside from 3 different countries and airport. But this stupid scanner have interest for what i have bought in the places i have visited. this airport sucks. They just want money. So shameful poor people that cannot work clean they still need to do this even they are working in Airport. That gay looking scanner. You A-hole. who cant afford to buy what passengers are able to..

Amatlan De Jora , Mexico ... When she left only way to go or come was by plane ... Now I see roads and vehicles .. She passed away at age 106 in good health ... Walking and talking ..

Spectacular field
Nice approach and take off, a bit scary as the terrain suddenly drops down to the river.
Nice scenery, one of the most beautiful airfields I visited so far. We stayed overnight in the village and made some nice walks.

What a stunning airport! Great facilities and really friendly people. Great coffee in the club room. Highly recommend visiting.
Lovely fly in spot
Only 2 minutes walk to the winery, cafe or restaurant. Outstanding staff, reasonable grass strip. 1000m so good for just about any GA. First timers should perform a precautionary flypast to get a good look at the trees & approach/departure profile required at the Southern end. Tie down cables near the hangar.
Visit the Aeroclub
Aeroclub holds a regular club day on the last Sunday of each month. Drop in for a BBQ snag for a few hours or make a day of it.

Ediz Hook was a marine NDB on 317 kHz but the frequency was changed to 338 kHz May 2010. Ident is still "K" - the last single letter NDB in the USA!

Mule Creek
Mule Creek is a 4000X75 emergency grass strip. It is littered with gofer holes, but usable for bush planes. The Haines highway gets socked in quite a bit, so it is nice to have this option.

I flew in today, the FBO is unbelievable. Beautiful with a very swanky pilot's lounge. I think I would get spoiled if I flew out of here regularly!
