Nice field close to Frankfurt
Strange combination of a CTR and uncontrolled field. Radar information comes from EDDF in the CTR but no positive control; only information for the guys in the tower. No ILS. Have to cancel when the field is in view. Had some horrific crashes on the approach from the east due to a rise in a forest that is basically invisible. Awesome restaurant and pleasant ground staff. S-Bahn takes you to downtown Frankfurt in about 30 minutes and EDDF is only a few minutes away with train or taxi. Home to Netjets.

when the hell the airport in amravati city will be developed for daily flights/regular flights to mumbai it's around 5 years still the developement is pending just there will be some news in news papers to misguide the people of amravati region that it will be developed soon now it has been 5 years but no developement at the amravati airport site even the basic repair work is not done it's a big question whether the airport will be developed or not.maharastra government is not giving funds to develope the amravati airport.

I think it would be in the best interest to have porter fly into Kingston. I have many corporate colleges that are wondering why they cannot fly into kingston from Toronto, Montreal and as far as that goes from down east as well. I think it is about time this should be entertained.

May questtion po ako. I am leaving for abu dhabi on dec 20 until dec 28 lang para magvisit sa cousin ko. Kasama ko po 2 tita ko. Wala po akong work right now nagresign na ako nung august 2013 pa kase po magmimigrate po ako sa australia. May stamp po ang passport ko ng Australian visa as immigrant. Di ko po 1st time magtravel every year po lumalabas ako ng bansa. Magkakaproblema po ba ako makaexit ng phils? Medyo worried ako sa mga immigration officer bka maoff load ako

Don't believe them as soon as the ask for money u know they are scams coz if they want the dogs to go to good homes go give it to the animal shelter. You say its a give aways so why u need money. If u went overseas with the dogs u a fool u should of gave it away in first place. And why can't u find a good home in the same country u are living in. So we guys need to know as soon as they ask us for money its a scam ignore them. This web site helped me I almost got scamed. But I never intended to give money.
WAOC: General overview
The runway is privately owned, PPR, without services and not in nav data bases as an airport. It is in good condition, 5800' long by 100' wide. Airport is roughly 35-40' AMSL. Any slope is negligible.
It is served by scheduled ATR42 flight from BDJ, as well as medium and heavy business jets, the latter operating at reduced weights and tire pressure due to PCN concerns.

Guelph charters
To the best of my knowledge there are no charter operations out of Guelph which no longer has an active flying school although Brampton makes some use of it with a Cessna 152.
It might be possible to arrange a flight using a twin from Kitchener to pick up the parties in Guelph.
Currently the restaurant is closed, a lease is on offer, the building is closed, the Unicom is not manned, NORDO planes use whichever runway suits their purpose. There is an outside pay phone.

Deni is well worth a visit. 06/24 runway is paved, lit & well maintained. The grass strip of 12/30 is also well maintained.
Good little airport
This airport is very close to both Penfield & Romsey. The main strip is ashphalt 02/20 10 metres wide. Landing on 20 there is a small rise in the strip about 75 meters from the beginning.

ilan ba talaga ang limit ng baggage sa PAL?pag uwi ko dyan sa Bacolod ang limit ng baggage 18kilos pag balik ko 10 kilos nalang,round trip bali almost 7,000pesos na bayad ko sa sobra ng bagahe,at meron 200pesos sa terminal fee,tapos ang bathroom wla hand soap at toilet paper.

Allow *lots* of time for international connections
While I like flying into Dulles as a private pilot, I had a very bad experience here as a passenger changing planes. I arrived on an international flight from Switzerland last Saturday, on time, with a scheduled 2-hour stopover. By the time I lined up for US immigration, lined up for the exit from the baggage area, then lined up again for a second security screening (totally unnecessary, since we'd never left the secure area), I'd used up most of the stopover time, and my next flight had already boarded. I made it on board after a very long run, but just barely.
So if you're switching from an international flight at Dulles, 2 hours is barely enough -- I'd suggest leaving more if you can, at least until the airport decides to stop abusing passengers with redundant security screenings.
Quick visit
I changed planes here last Saturday on a long, multi-leg United Airlines trip from Geneva to Tucson. I didn't have much time to look around, but it wasn't too long a walk to my connection, and I had a chance to buy a smoothie on the way. Most food places were still open Saturday evening, which was nice.
Taxis
I arrived in TUS late Saturday night on a delayed United Airlines flight. I suspect we were the last flight in. The airport was mostly empty, aside from a few cleaners, security staff, etc., but there were still a lot of taxis waiting outside at the queue, which was a relief.

I too have been "invited" by a Customs officer to go to the small narrow room next to the cabin bag check x-ray machine (just before passport control) for discussion on how much money I carried. I had to show him all the money, and even my wallet, whcih he boldly took, and went through the money notes piece by piece. I felt embarrassed to say here that I was relieved of 500,000 VND! Apparently, you should not have more than 15 ml VND or equivalent - we weren't told of this, as there was no Customs or Immigration forms to fill in when we entered Vietnam. Any amount in excess, and you are expected to contribute to their private coffers.
I was, and still am, quite angry each time I think about this incident. Is this prevalent practice? Should we contribute, or have the right to say no? If we do, how much is considered reasonable? What can we do to counter the threat that "a report must be made since you carry over 15 ml VND"? Do they have the right to detain you... until your flight takes off? Grateful if you could share your experience and suggestions.

I've only flown into/out of DVO once. This single runway airport is comparable to a small town U.S. runway. I am planning to return soon and I will be visiting the local flight school. Davao has modern amenities in the local area and is recommended as a place to check out.
