I have deal to Island ostrich group Ltd in India that has ostrich farm in Cameroon. They can provide other tracking no. for previous customers and it is traceable that shipping from Int. Airport Douala. They ask me to pay with WU and moneygram. How to recognize that is pet scam or not?

I moved the marker to 9.6N 5.18333W because that's where the Eurocontrol data has it, but it doesn't look any more like an aerodrome than the previous location. It's important to note, however, that small private airstrips often don't look like anything on the satellite imagery.

Me as well I have been emailing the person about the puppies ever since yesterday night. I though it was to good to be true the price that I would pay and they will pay the rest. I notice it was awkward because I was looking for a pom puppy online when I saw the same picture of the dog this person was supposedly trying to sell me and online was 4,000 and the person told me its only 145$ . I ask for more pictures and she send me the pictures that was online. I felt this was a scam so I had to research the address up to see. I work my ass of for my money and this Xmas I wanted to get my daughter a puppy and she fell in love with the picture of the puppy and wanted it so I told the person I wanted the dog but something was not right and now that I read this I won't proceed with the payment. Yes she was all religious as well and started bringing up some Bible verses and stuff now she will pay their consequences because with god no one messes with him. Stupid people !

The tarmac condition is quite impressive.A serviceable windsock is also available but the strip is narrow.i might as well recommend an initial low pass to ensure no animals or Kids playing on the runway.Good luck as you plan to fly to Nyahururu

On Thursday morning, before the huge storm struck in mid afternoon, I looked at International Arrivals to see what the scheduled time for the afternoon SAA flight from Lilongwe was noted as. It said 3.30pm and LANDED. All day it said LANDED, which was very inaccurate. It was diverted to Durban at 3.30 as the pilot could not land the aircraft! The passengers eventually landed back in Johannesburg at 8pm.....I was too busy driving back to the Sandton Gautrain pick up point to be able to check to see if the site had been updated. If it had said DIVERTED at 4pm I would have saved myself a nightmare trip to Sandton and back.

Don't believe them as soon as the ask for money u know they are scams coz if they want the dogs to go to good homes go give it to the animal shelter. You say its a give aways so why u need money. If u went overseas with the dogs u a fool u should of gave it away in first place. And why can't u find a good home in the same country u are living in. So we guys need to know as soon as they ask us for money its a scam ignore them. This web site helped me I almost got scamed. But I never intended to give money.

Air Strip and Hangers
Hi There, i was wondering weather you can help me. I am a researching for Migrate Films Company and have been back and forth trying to find dusty air strips with Hangers (kind of deserted) so small landing strips are what we are looking for to pitch for this international shoot. I have looked for the air strips in the follwing places between Pottsville & Eendekuil- Malmesbury, Wellington, Tulbagh, Loeriesfontien, Niewoudtville, Calvinia, Sutherland. I cannot seem to get my hands on any photographs. Do you have any suggestions who might or where i might be able to find? sorry if this is the incorrect forum for this my research on these places has just lead me to here and desperate times call for desperate measures.
If you do have any suggestions pls get back to me at frances@atomikpictures.com. It would be such a great help to just talk with someone who knew these smaller landing strips.

it took me just 20 minutes to arrive and out of the airport ,you get off the plane, short walk to immigration 10 minute que then short walk to collect your luggage in 10 minutes then a very short walk to customs and you are out , very pleased indeed i have been to so many international airport and need to walk 45 minute to get to immigration in some other airport you need to catch a train to get to your luggage and immigration

On a recent visit I found the staff at this airport to be the rudest most unhelpful and overbearing I have ever come across anywhere in the world.
Announcements
The announcements at the airport drive me crazy. The terrible use of their voices, the pitch of the voice, the pronouncements and the tone is absolutely terrible. I just can't understand why you don't coach your announcers properly. This is a world-class airport, except for the terrible annoucements. It seems as if they really don't care what they sounds like and if they have no proud of who they are or who they represent. Kindly note that I have made a sound rcording of this unslaught on our ears and will definitely bring it to the attention of whoever wants to hear it.

Molly Cohen earned her "wings" Pilot's Licence in Somerset East in 1950 and at which time she was the youngest woman to do so.
Sadly, my mother, Molly did not live to see the day that the Aerodrome became an Airport as she died last year on 8 October 2012.
I still have her "wings" and all her Pilot study manuals and lessons which were recorded from all those years back.

Nokaneng airport as shown is the new Gumare airport, Nokaneng is about 50kms south. The Gumare airport as shown was closed at least 10 years ago.
