TAC Apron

Hope they will fix the Apron specially if there is a flight using long range aircrafts it only accompanies A320,A319,ATR and Dash 8

Picture of

SBIA

Perhaps,There is no passenger service in SBIA,only freight service like Fedex.

Picture of

NAIA Lounges

I was there on June 3,2010 aboard Malaysia Airlines MH803 to Kuala Lumpur, but the problem is the Lounges in the Gates of the airport.Hope they will fix it

Kalibo Airport Operations

Wow!!There is an international flight in Kalibo Airport,Is this airport International???

Picture of

Caticlan Airport

Very small airport with many airline service,Hope they renovate the airport to accompany more passengers and aircrafts

Picture of

Legaspi City International Airport

This international airport once finished will connect Luzon to the Visayas and probably Mindanao. It is going to be great.I really can wait to see it in operations.I can go home to my family in Ligap City every year or even every 6 months the least direct from where I am here overseas.I also think that my fellow Bicolanos from all over the world will be thinking the same as I do.

Picture of

Legaspi City International Airport

When is this going to open?I cant wait to go home to Albayflying directly from Australia to make it an easier and shorter destination and for my fellow Bicolanos and tourists from all over the world. It will surely bring a lot of jobs and tourism in the region so hopefully it is already getting closer to a finish.

Picture of

Bagabag Airport

Flew there on 10th July 2010 on a Cessna 172 but Tower never answerd on 123.40 (closed for maintenance?). Then flew on to Mrmp but that appeared to be a dilapidated abandoned runway too dangerous too land. Poor co-pilot had to pee in her water bottle !

Picture of

Calling overhead and AOG frequency and runway orientation

The overhead calling frequency is 121.9 for calling other aircraft in the vicinity or AOG // Runway orientation is East, runway 29, and West, runway 11. The length of the runway is 960m, not including the threshold of 10m either end. No ATC, and no refuelling.

flight schedule

do you have airflight from subic to baguio? thanks

Picture of

re: Safety

The airlines ware recently put on the black list and are not allowed to fly to any european airport. Probably due to maintenance problems.

Picture of

Safety

Is the airport safe due to its officials? Several reports about the near crash were in even our newspapers (in the Netherlands) published. Good advertising.

any updates about re-opening of Ma.Cristina Airport....

i guess it's a good thing to have the Balo-i Airport re-opened.it's not just good for Iligan City but for the whole Lanao Del Norte and some parts of Lanao Del Sur esp. Marawi City.based on passenger load in Cagayan De Oro Lumbia Airport,Lanao area comprises some 40-50% of passenger share, which could easily equal to 2 daily flights using modern turbo-prop aircrafts being used by major airlines in the country.the problem with RPMI is the security within the critical radius wherein the aircraft approaches the airport,as it has not been deemed secured yet.but overall, even if an international airport is coming soon in Laguindingan,i would say if Balo-i airport is open for commercial flight, then why would i travel more when i can fly from a nearer airport.hoping that some local leaders with great visions for the good of the whole Lanao areas would give some effort to have the airport re-opened.i guess the likes of Gov.Khalid Dimaporo, who's young with great plans for Lanao Del Norte could be a great instrument of re-opening the airport.and it's good to know that somebody from the Congress is trying to make a policy proposal about re-opening the airport.anyway i have info for RPMI although limited but i guess this would help a bit.i'll just e-mail it to you in a moment.

A Great Addition To Western Leyte Air Commuters

Mt Mayon

Hi! I have planned to fly to Legazpi in February and I'm worried of the volcano Mt Mayon. I know people have been evacuated away from the volcano at the moment and like to know a little more! We have planned to fly to Legazpi then take a taxi to Pilar and a fast craft to Masbate City. What happens if the volcano eruptures?? Where can we land safely that our plans are not all going to waste? What's the situation at the moment?

How to get to pangasinan from Subic Bay airport?

Picture of

Runway at Castillejos

I last used this runway in 1964 when the Cubi Pt. Navy Flying Club used it for training with a Piper Colt. It was unpaved but in good condition and was attended by a man who asked for our flight information.

Picture of

Runway

I last landed and took off Corregidor in 1984 with 3 American Civil Air Patrol Cadets. I recommend 10 degrees of flaps for takeoff with a Cessna 182.

The same C182 with 4 adults went off the end of the runway and dropped into the bay sometime later.

re: any airlines care to fly to iligan?pls.do....

hej,im glad to have a feedback/reaction relating my post.actually it took some time for somebody like me interested about Ma.Cristina Airport's reopening to commercial service.I'm even more happy to know that you're working for the govt.or in the congress.are you a staff of Cong.Varf Belmonte?i've been looking for a way on how i can contact him to ask about what's his plan of RPMI(Iligan)the only thing i can link you about RPMI(Ma.Cristina Airport)is in skyscrapercity.com,i believe you know that forum already.there's a guy in there that's really an aviation expert and he knows the real score of Iligan airport.AFAIK Iligan Airport is still close waiting for the clearing operation by our AFP to be finished and be declared safe for aircraft within the approach zone.but i still believe that a push from the local govt.or the person like cong.varf belmonte or people connected with the govt.could be a big help in reopening the airport.i've seen many airports opened already and has been active ever since.airports of cities or provinces that iligan is way ahead in terms of revenue and population.i just hope you could give your precious time to promote or make an important move so Ma.Cristina Airport can be reopened again.i would would be happy to support too.

I cant wait for it. Iam a legazpeno and iam happy for mY CITY. Subic Bay International Airport

I hope they will allow international commercial flights in SBIA. After the FEDEX departure just wondering what does SBMA plan to do with the airport. Hoping commercial flights to liven up the area and to attract tourism.

re: Have been there.

Reply to @david: that's bagui and is probably 8 hours ? through the mountain roads which would defeat the object of flying - better to fly to togegerau ?

Picture of

re: Have been there.

Reply to @david: isnt that for bagui - waht would be closest airport (apart from toguerao) for santiago isabella - i believe bagabag airport is closed ?

Picture of

Manila to Nueva Vizcaya

Are there flights to and from Manila - Bagabag, NV? What kind, sizes of planes? We plan to go to Dupax del Sur on our next visit to P.I. Thanks.

re: SBIA

There are no commercial passenger flights into Subic, try Clark International, it is only about one hour drive away now that the new toll road is open. Clark has budget connections (TigerAirways, Cebupacificair) from Singapore for example.

Picture of

re: SBIA

I have been checking Subic Bay websites for weeks. I can't find a travel agent to arrange the entire trip. The SBIC website doesn't give any information on airlines or flights.

Picture of ptomblin

re: SBIA

You'll probably have to go to RPLL (Ninoy Aquino International Airport).

Picture of

Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines

Nice travel destination for those that like ocean resorts and love to scuba dive.

Reply to @david: Thank you. Appreciate the info. ;-)

re: Have been there.

The nearest airport I know with airline service is Loakan Airport (BAG RPUB), about 70 km to the west-southwest, but you might be able to charter a small plane from there the rest of the way in.

Picture of

Have been there.

I lived just off the airport for a year. It is a classic small Philippine airport. Love the people of Bagabag.

improvements at Ozamiz airport

Since the opening of Ozamiz airport last July 2007, Air philippines and PAL express have offered flights to Manila and Cebu respectively. Passengers and cargoes have increased significantly due to its strategic location. Ozamiz airport serves the areas of Ozamiz city, Oroquieta city, Tangub city, parts of Lanao del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur. I heard that Cebu Pacific Air is also flying to Ozamiz in September 2008 by offering Manila flights via Cebu using their ATR 72 plane. The entry of another airline in Ozamiz will definitely boost travel, business and tourism in Misamis Occidental and its neighboring provinces. Works for the improvement of the airport already started in the first quarter of 2008. Expansion of the tarmac, construction of a new passenger arrival building with a luggage carousel/conveyor, installation of the baggage scanner and walk-through detector and car park fencing are almost finished. Ozamiznons are eagerly awaiting for installation of runway lights and extension/expansion of the runway so that bigger aircrafts can land at the airport.

departed aircraft

Good day.

I would like to know what demestic/international aircraft has been departed in Bacolod-Silay International Airport?

Thank you

Picture of david

Closed January 2008

This airport closed January 2008, replaced by the new Bacolod-Silay City International Airport, which took over its IATA and ICAO airport codes.
