Worst Airport Ever
Let me list the reasons:
1)Last flight to Charlottetown always delayed. Always a different reason
2)Ground crew work for the Sopranos - if you land 1 minute early or or 1 minute late, the ground crew needs to be redispatched, forget it if lightning is seens 1000kms away, cus they are not going on the tarmac.
3)Small, dirty washrooms
4)Narrow congrested corridors
5)Terminal A under the tunnel is always sweltering hot
6)Terrrible food selection

LOT - Lewis - Mixed traffic
Busy field during primary training with mixed traffic. Pattern always seemed full and extending downwind was normal.
C09 - Morris - Quiet Airport
Nice for practice field outside of busy Chicago airspace.
C77 - Poplar Grove - Hard and Soft
Great airport for both Hard surface and soft surface TO/LDG
1C5 - Clow International - First Starts
I started primary training here a long while back.

3CK - Lake in the Hills - Blue Skies Pilot Shop
Just an awesome training, flying service and friendly people around.
06C - Schaumburg - Pilot Pete's !
What else to say - nice airport with a great restaurant under a class B shelf
CHN - Wauchula - Night approach
Same night training flight - Moonless, cloudless. Arriving from the south, fire up the PCL, you can see this one from 10 nm out
X25 - Arcadia - Night is Dark
Landed here during night training - moonless, cloudless, landing RWY 5 the runway lights/environment just float is a sea of darkness - needless to say the first landing approach was high.
LEE - Leesburg - Helpful ATC
One of the many airports on my solo XC during ASEL - controllers very helpful even recognizing return flights.
CGC - Crystal River - DQ Stop
Flew into CGC for Solo-XC as part of ASEL. Easy to spot from SE.
Extra bonus - a Dairy Queen adjacent to field, great refreshment after baking in the sun for a few hours.
KMSN - Madison - Wisconsin Aviation treats you very well
Awesome experience for a day trip into MSN.
Wisconsin Aviation had me park the Cherokee right up in front next the bus. jets -
Courtesy car available and clean.
C02 - Grand Geneva -
Another SE Wisconsin trip worth the visit. The resort is upscale and boasts a great lunch.
Town of Lake Geneva is a few minutes away and offers shops, water activities, beach. Just a great place to loaf a day away.
As the former Playboy club property from 1968 till 1983, there is an occasional re-union - how do I know? I just happened to take the father-in-law in for a flight.
C59 - Lake Lawn Lodge - Hope it reopens
A great place just to go for lunch.
Took the family for a day outing to play around the lodge.
Lodge and Airstrip closed in late 2010. I hear the lodge may re-open in 2011. Don't know about the airstrip.
05C - Griffith-Merrillville - Mexican Food on Airport
Great place for both 100LL and Human Fuel (on airport Mexican cafe).
If you're there at night during late summer, watch out for mosquitoes - they are huge and have a big appetite (I had quite the cabin cleanup after smashing a dozen or so).
KPGD - Punta Gorda - Awesome Bay Views
Views of the bay towards the west are fantastic.
X07 - Lake Wales - Lots of Rubber on the RWY
Many tire marks from my primary training at Lake Wales.
A bit deserted but a good place for practice
CDK - Cedar Key - Gulf Front
Awesome little strip just off the water - spectacular views.
Watch the sea breezes.
3D2 For the Day - Very Friendly
Flew into 3D2 for a day trip - lunch, sites.
Friendly Staff. Local business will ferry you between Airport and town or take the bicycles.
Nice Little AP
Like RWY 11, Rgt. Traffic, 2700".
Watch for feathered flying friends on approach.

Hi,
I presently own a Piper Cherokee PA-28 140, with a private pilot license. I am looking to buy a Piper Saratoga Turbo in the US and would like to train on one now so I can get current in this model and can bring it back. I am going in Rochester New York, on May 18, to get my American Pilot License. I have a night rating and I am within a coupe of hours to get my VFROTT.
I would be interested in renting a Saratoga or maybe if no Saratoga are available a Piper Six. And pay for some training on it. Do you or any of your member have a Saratoga (preferably a T-Saratoga) that I could rent or inquiry for rent and training.

I am soo happy i typed there ladies name as she goes by christelle caille email adress:christelle_caille19@yahoo.com ... i was just about to purchase a very small and cute chihuahua...i was very hesitant about buying the dog over the internet and asked her how payment was she said dogs were free with only $130 shipping from cameroon where she lives ...i was still to scared to buy it and she said how about $65 before and the other 65 when it gets there ....I also asked her lots n lots of questions like how do i know if your euthentic or not a scamer and she ignored all my questions and went stright to the money and shipment... was just about to give her my information when i decided to look her name up on google and this lovely site saved me from buying nothing . these people are sooo sick .

Shame the custom officers behave like they must rob every traveller, creating their own rules as they go.
Avoid this place!
The most disorganized & chaotic place I ever came across! The custom officers believe they have God given right to create their own rules & simply rob the travellers by using their official position. A lot of disrespect & shoking behaviour, especially from teenage custom officers- Forostovez & Gerasimov on the international departures. What a way to present the country! Shame on you!!!

custom officers at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
i have visited in january 2011, while i was arrived at airport in the morning everything was ok but when i checking out one of the custom officer called me and ask me what i have although i was passed from green zone and i was having nothing but that officer was talking with me very rudely as i am his servant and i m terrorist. he had seen all my luggage and everything was clearly checked and he has taken my perfume which i had purchased from shanghai in 210 USD. that experience is very bad from mumbai airport custom officers and every one arriving at this airport are telling the same thing.......very bad
