Rude and unorganized
Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the overall lack of organization. Nearly every employee we interacted with was argumentative and sharp with every response. This ranged from airline employees to security to people stationed at customs. The airport is a disaster. I understand there is a remodel effort underway, but the floors of the airport are disgusting. There is very little seating if you happen to be trapped for extended periods. There were at least uniformed airport "security" that sat around for several hours just socializing. They were loud and were loudly using foul language. Maybe management should hang out one night and see what goes on. I hate having to rant about something, but this was by far the worst airport I have ever encountered.

Magkaiba yung dalawa. Invitation letter, nakastate doon kung ano reason nya bakit ka ininvite. Kung ano realsyon nyo sa isat isa. Affidavit of support, katunayan na susuportahan nya travel mo/expenses mo.

Visitors airport Entry
I took two visiting ticket from the counter around 4.30pm (01/08/17) and went to take two tea. Then I was refused entry as the time of entry written on the ticket was 4.30 even though the ticket was still valid until 6.30. When I checked with the counter person he even refused to give my money back.
What a horrible service from this airport team.
My ticket numbers were 91700 and 91701. The air authority need to train their staff well. They have no understanding of their own system rules.

Guys tanong ko lang, yung ate kasi ng bestfriend ko is OFW then uuwi siya dito sa bansa sa October at the same time nagpa-book siya mg ticket for us papuntang HK. Everything will be funded by her. Makakalusot kaya ako sa immigration? Hindi naman ako relative, wala din akong work and i'm 22 years old. First time traveller pa and just in case, pwede ba ako magpagawa mg affidavit of support tapos yung ate niya ilalagay ko? Thanks!

Better to check with POEA muna kasi alam ko may attendan kang seminar and may Certificate na ibibigay sayo to prove na legal yung working visa mo. Ipapakita mo yung certificate na yun sa IO.

OEC from DOLE - True story Sec. Bello (Just sharing)
Hello mga kapwa OFW/katraveller,
Gusto ko lang ishare yung nangyari sa GF ko yesterday sa DOLE. She was there to ask for Sec. Bello's signature for OEC. My GF will work in Bangkok as IT consultant (direct hired). She provided all the requirements needed in POEA until this signature of Sec. Bello comes along.
Here comes the story.... Nasa 15 silang nasa opisina kahapon, patiently waiting all day for Sec. Bello to meet them and their OEC sign one by one. The 12 people has been signed and My GF and the other 2 has not been signed.
My GF(IT consultant in BKK), teacher (in korea), carpenter (canada). They are all direct hired. Hindi pinirmahan ni Sec. Bello and kanilang OEC. Dahil sya daw ay hindi convinced sa mga Sweldo nila. Sabi ni Sec sa GF ko,"5 yrs kalang, IT ka, ganito kalaki sweldo mo? hindi ako convinced, kelangan ko tong iverify".. at same ang sinabi niya sa 2 pang hindi pinirmahan, teacher and carpenter,, nakakaawa ang carpenter ,, dahil sinasabi ni sec bello, bakit ganito sweldo mo? karpintero kalang,, ako lawyer, ang tagal ko na, hindi ako sumweldo ng ganito. hindi ako convinced...
Same with the teacher, "teacher kalang ganito sweldo mo.. bla bla bla"
isa lang ang sinagot niyaaaaaaaa,, iveverify nia sa POLO at dahil hnd siya convinced.
Dahil sa pagkadismaya,, lahat sila ay may kanya kanyang sagot kay sec.(pinilit nilang mag explain). My GF told him na "Sir,. to tell you the truth, nagresign ako sa company, nasa ganito na kalaki ang sweldo ko,, at nasa IT industry ako,, may iba pong mga IT nasa 250k-300k ang sweldo per month sa SG at kasing level ko lang,, ano pong mali doon?, contractor po itong inapplyan ko at malaking oil industry ang client kaya afford po nila, pinaghirapan ko po makuha ang opportunity nato,, flight ko na po ngayon weekend ,, resigned na po ako at kelangan ko bumuhay ng pamilya...bla bla.. Until.. my GF said the word "unfair".. Unfair naman po kung ssabhin niyo dapat di kami sumweldo ng ganitong kalaki..(hindi pa tapos magsalita,,nagalit na si sec).
" Don't tell me na unfair ako, di ako convinced.. kelangan ko to iverify.. wag nio kong pinapangunahan,, karpintero kalang, teacher kalang,, ganito sweldo mo? ververify ko to.. at hindi ko alam kung kelan ko mappirmahan to,, wag nio sabhin sakin na flight nio na dahil wala akong pakielam." galit daw si sec at nakasigaw,.. talagang matatameme ka kapag ikaw kaharap dahil alam mong mataas sya.. Naiiyak nadaw ung teacher na magwwork sa korea..
SAbay tanong ni sec "Bat kayo may flight na?"
Sabi ng GF ko at ng teacher, sir.. kasi po requirements sa VISA at sa POEA...

sinubukan pa nilang mag explain kay sec. bello.. tulad ng ,," sir kung gusto nio,, papakita ko po yung current payslip ko ngayon pero malaman nio na 6digits napo sweldo ko dito palang"..
Sabi ni sec " wala akong kelangan sa inyo,, ako mag vverify neto,, wala ako kelangan na details .. bla bla bla.."
wala silang nagawa... kundi umuwi ng luhaan at mag bakasakali at maghintay kung kelan O kung mappirmahan ba talaga ang kanilang OEC..
(Gusto ko lang ilabas ang sama ng loob ko sa ating proseso..bakit ganoon satin? unang una,, sige naiintindihan ko,, ivverify mo dahil baka sakaling malaki ang sweldo sa papel pero di naman papaswelduhin ng employer ng ganon talaga, which is nangyyari sa ibang bansa ayon sa mga news nappanuod ko,, tulad ng middle east.. pero naman,, corporate world ung papasukan ng GF ko.. at since nasa DOLE ka,, alam mo dapat ung trend ng mga industry,, pag dating sa swelduhan ng mga employees,, tama bako mga ka OFW? ,, sabi pa niya na ivverify niya? ni wala syang pinanghawakan at sinabi man lang,, na pending to sakin,, mag wait kayo hanggang ganitong araw.. WALA.. para kang iniwan sa ere.. ano nalang ssabihin ng company na inplayan nila sa ibang bansa? sa katunayan,, nireffer ko ang aking GF dito sa bangkok, same company... at alam ko kapag vinerify man nia,, siguradong pasado eh.. kaso di namin alam kung ivverify talaga o HINDI.. kasi parang wala syang pakiealam.. sobrang panget ng proseso natin.. naaawa ako sa mga tao na gusto mangarap.. bat haharangan ng ganong kahigpit,, di ba niya naisip na pwedeng umatras ang mga employer/company? di man lang nia cinonsider na wlang trabaho na yung tao na naghhintay sa kanya..
.. sobrang nakakadismaya mga ka kaOFW/traveller... this is a true story.. kahit ako nagulat,, di ko alam na ganon mag salita si sec bello na iddown ka niya,, "karpintero kalang ! teacher kalang! lawyer ako! tapos ganito sweldo mo?" WTf....

Where can I find the official map of the Kingston Airfield?
I'm on the History Committee of the Kingscourt Community Association, and I'm looking into the history of the old airfield. Trying to find an official government map of the airfield -- tried NavCan, Dept of Transport, Archives Canada but no luck. I have the Kingston topographical map from 1931 that shows the runways, but I'd still like to see the official map of the airfield. Can you help?

My sister and I are going to hk for 4 days. She's employed pero under job order lang while ako kakagraduate ko lang kaya unemployed pa. Tanong ko lang ano hinahanap ng IO, meron na kaming rt ticket tapos yung hotel mga a day or before pa kami magbook para just in case na ayaw namin sa hotel na yun pwede lang macancel agad without charge. Meron na rin ate ko VL at COE. Ano pa po pwedeng hanapin sa amin na mga documents? First time din namin magtravel abroad.
