In summary it seems YADG is now run by Adelaide Bi planes,its a shame really as now its angry rude and dangerous . Something very wrong here . Used to be safe . Suggest alternate to GOOLWA ..MURRAYBRIDGE. both have avgas and safe circuit activity.

Smart City Muzaffarpur is second capital of bihar and capital of north bihar that is northern side of gangas river in bihar and capital of about 22 district of north bihar purnea to saran commissary .muzaffarpur is largest/biggest city of north bihar due to its geographical and center govt. policy but patna is bigger city due to only govt policies of bihar because bihar govt always ignore north bihar. all india medical sciences (aiims )should must in muzaffarpur.govt should give zoo, museum, platarium and also a big airport in muzaffarpur north nihar . govt regional offices and high court bench should be in muzaffarpur.and a big airport also should be in muzaffarpur not in patna because north bihar population is near about 7 crores.only muzaffarpur city is center point so govt should take initiative.

Hi, Im planning to travel to Dubai on November. Actually my bf booked the ticket and the hotel in Jumeirah beach for his upcoming birthday. Dito ako sa manila manggling and him sa London po. What other documents do i need for proof na its just a holiday?
The state for this airport is wrong
This airport is officially in the state of Queensland and not in the state of New South Wales. The Wikipedia entry for the airport will also confirm this.
What is interesting about this airport is that it physically crosses the state line and timezoneboundary between New South Wales and Queensland, so during summer when NSW has daylight saving and Qld doesn't, planes push off from the terminal in Qld time but leave the ground one hour earlier because the end of the runway is in NSW time.

Muzaffarpur airport
Muzaffarpur is biggest and one of the best cities in Bihar and having its own impression in economical and cleanness city in North Bihar. But it only don't have is its own airport for traveling to other civilian cities of India . I have gone to patahi airport, it is not in a very good condition but have all of the other things like a hangar and a ATC but damage due to carelessness of bihar government by not giving priority to us or by ignoring us. Darbhanga and Purnea airports are operating for darbhanga and purnea people's . Because a Spirit company 9 seater aircraft is flying over my house in Muzaffarpur to major metro cities like delhi, mumbai, hyderabad, bangalore, kolkata and others. And it is a multi-engine aircraft as I have seen many times from my roof of the house . For muzaffarpur city, politicians always says that they will improve the city especially by opening airport for us but none of them again ever talk about that . It is very shameful for us in living in Bihar and at Muzaffarpur where lifestyle is very slow because in other states like UP and Rajasthan there are atlist 6 airports approved by AAI and connected to major cities and some airports are approved by state government for state transportation by Rajkiye Hawaii Adda. From Lucknow you can get air services for middle East Asia like Dubai and Abu Dhabi and to other UAE's. Karnataka and Maharashtra state like pune and Mangalore are also connected with middle East Asia but in Bihar only Patna airport I have heard and Gaya not so much.

According to Wikipedia, it's still used by the Romanian Aeroclub. However it's not in the latest Eurocontrol data dump (although it was in the previous one), so maybe it is closed now?

Feel sorry for tamil nadu
Recently flew in and out of Chennai international airport. It is chaotic and esply the rest rooms are AWFUL. There are a total of 2 toilets in the airport and you find them with your nose. I could not figure out the men's vs ladies' toilets. Where are the toilet tissues? 20 years ago, in the old Bombay international airport, there used to be janitor ladies, handing out squares of toilet issues to each traveler. There was one janitor lady in one of the new Chennai toilets, adjusting her sari as men and women walked in, and the toilets were covered with water (?) making them unusable, and no one could approach the janitor lady as that would be an affront to her modesty. As a woman, I cannot use the toilet, if men walk in as well.
The question is, who ate all the money spent on this costly construction project?

Why can't I find any information on this airstrip? It's listed on the WAC chart but nowhere else. Not even in the AOPA directory that I just bought for the purpose of finding information to land here.
is this really an airport
We were flying from Huntington to Indiana last week and stopped at Vinton County for the first time since Manyak took care of the place. I used to fly into this airport a lot and was shocked at what I found. There are people, as far as I can tell, actually living at the airport. There's garbage and dirty clothes everywhere and it looks like a clubhouse or something. Part of the ceiling had collapsed. My wife said it was actually frightening to go into what is left of the terminal. And don't even ask about the smell.

Dear All, i had recently visited India and while i was in the Chennai Airport on 16Aug15 morning, i noticed each and every staff of yours are very rude and unprofessional. I feel that as a paying customer i do not wish to be spending money to get such a bad service. Your security services calls people 'heh hello' instead of 'excuse me Sir, your immigrant officer was scolding some people in the queue because their flight is geting late by telling them to come early in future etc, when its your check-in officers who are so slow. And she was refusing to open the elastic barrier for them to cross to another counter for checking in by telling them its not her job to open the barier (she is an elderly woman wearing saree with a bulging tummy), i do not know her name because you are not practising wearing visible name tags. Then another women officer wearing pants came and talked rudely by telling some guys to queue prperly if not she will send to the start of the queue (she is relatively young and wore glass). Then i think you have their supervisor sitting in the office smiling and joking around with the staffs. I clearly feel that all your staff are not employed through merits and have a poor educational upbringing or either your management is not strict in discipling them. Non of the staff are concerned about making the airport's image admirable but rather its seems they are interested in showing their power without realizing how silly they look eventually in the eyes of the world.

Reply to @Ozguy: It really needs TLC. Yesterday 18 Aug 2015, the toilets were broken, smelly and unclean. In the departures terminal the toilets were too foul to use. An airport is a major gateway to any country. As the Solomons tries to improve its image, it should start with the airport.

Whow, Have just been browsing the aerodromes in South Australia planning a trip from NSW to WA via S.A.
I planned to stop over at either Goolwa or Aldinga for fuel etc.
I am stunned at all the negative comments about Aldinga whilst the likes of Goolwa and other surrounding airfields have no bad comments.
Seems as if there is smoke there is a fire as if maybe one person posts a bad comment, that would be acceptable as one cannot please everybody.
But having now read all the comments about Aldinga, I would suggest that there may be some serious issues which should be addressed there.
It is not all about coffees and cakes, its about aviation, aviators and their aircraft and needs.
Needless to say, thanks to those who have been upfront enough to inform the rest of us.
I thought that I would pause and phone Goolwa at this stage.
Bloke there will make a vehicle available (No charge) to us if required, and will organize accommodation at our cost. Fair enough.
Solves that. I would rather stop somewhere which does not have the bad feedback and postings like Aldinga.
Sad that, as I flew in there years ago. lovely peaceful country airfield with small office and flying school and such a lovely friendly women who's name my wife tells me was Lorraine???
I guess that at times new ownership with big high flying ideas do not always work out and would suggest that maybe this is the case with Aldinga.
No longer the quint quite lovely place that we found it to be.
Grumpy bloke
Have found Goolwa a great place to visit.
Great collection of aircraft live there and on days with good weather may see the jets come out, aerobatic mob practicing, war birds, parachutes and so on.
And all interacting with each other safely.
Grumpy old character who owns the airport who is full of character and loves to project this grumpy attitude but is all piddle and wind. Good Ole Boy. Has been very helpful.
Great place to stop for fuel (Less expensive than Aldinga) if passing by from interstate as great coastal flight along the Coorong and river Murray Mouth.
Good maintenance bloke based at Goolwa.
Also in my opinion less hassles in the circuit than Aldinga which can be highly confusing with the low time RAAUS instructors and students.
Have encountered 3 runways in use at Aldinga with woeful radio calls and actually aborted landing there one day and diverted to Goolwa as with 20 plus plus years flying could not make sense of what was going on.
RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IMMIGRATION OFFICER
On 17 July an IO did not allow my mother to travel to Singapore. I understand that she was just doing her job but she was rude. And are they even allowed to have a chewing gum on their mouth while working? She was a boyish female officer. I was not able to get her name but I can remember her rude and straight up unprofessional face! May karma Miss!

From Jo'burg, better is to fly to Upington and hire a car there. It's a shorter drive than from CT.
Aldinga Airfield
Have not looked at this site for a while but pleased to see that finally some are waking up to what Aldinga and the operators of the flying school are actually like..
Not all nice coffee and cakes, in fact, from an aviators point of view who have flown in there for many past years, its gone to the dogs with shocking circuit procedures and running the risk of been abused.
Avgas is about 18 cents more per liter than some other airports who PAY DELIVERY for their avgas.
I make a point of never calling in there for fuel or for any other reason any more unless there is something on at the Aero Club or similar. The Good Ole Boys.
And yes. The low time inexperienced instructors sit on the veranda with their coffees and criticize the landings and take offs of others.
But they will suck in the inexperienced thru their fancy social networking and sadly teach the students their ways.
It is also interesting to note that the operators, nor their students etc are made very welcome around various aviation venues in S.A. Seems that the aviation fraternity have woken up to them. And remember, that some have been around for some time and are highly qualified and respected.
Funny thing. We Australians will always, well at the best of times, extend our hands in friendship to newcomers. But beware when these newcomers bite our hands.
