Lost Property
On November 6th 2014 I arrived at Antananarivo Airport at 23.35hrs. on Air France flight number AF934. Unfortunately I left my camera, a Canon S120 complete with a case and spare battery under my seat, A30. I informed our local guide who reported the matter to you. Has the camera been handed in to Lost Property? Sincerely, Frank Juckes.

Who it may concern
I was at OR Tambo airport for a flight to Maputo and what catching my eye is how the airport personal has to deal with everyday nonsense of passengers, passengers get angry with airport personal because the idiots don’t lessen when their names are called because they delaying the aircraft or they don’t read there information on their boarding pass nor there tickets.
From that I board my ticket all the necessary information is on there were to go, how mush bags are allowed and even their weight is specified.
We was in line for a flight to Maputo the other day and as usual the airport was very busy, I’ve standing there and watch people’s behavior and lessening to remarks what people have to say towards airport personal is hard to believe. Just before our boarding time our company called and inform us not to board because of something out of there control.
Our luggage was already checked in and now to get it back was what’s amassing me how well the airport personal behaved and responded when inform them that we are not boarding were to go and claim our luggage back… very quick and friendly. While collecting our luggage a very angry passenger also comes to collect her bags and stated that she were treated unfair… this is totally nonsense. I was there and hear the airport personal calling her numerous times because she was delaying the flight… good luck to you women and with some wake up pills you probably catch your flight next time. My feel really goes out to the airport personal for what they have to deal with every day.

Atlantic FBO in Manhattan
I jogged by here yesterday morning on my way down the East River Greenway (with "green" in sarcastic quotation marks). It was a surprise to see the familiar Atlantic Aviation logo on a sign right beside the path, even though I knew there was a heliport around here. It looks like a nasty landing spot -- the elevated FDR drive is right on the edge of the heliport (Atlantic is tucked underneath it), so if there were an east wind, you'd have to be very careful about your landing.

This airport is closes at night. RNW 26 (right-hand pattern) preferred. Parachute activity in the weekends and holidays. Soaring activity frequent.
KROC a cool place
KROC is a good stop before going to the southern United States. Customs there which makes it a good starting spot for the USA. USairports FBO is very clean with friendly staff. Hanger fee is a bit steep but thats the way she goes Rick. If you get a chance go into the city and grab some ribs from the Dinansour BBQ.
Great Airport
KELM is a great airport, had the oppertunity of landing on rwy 10 which has a really cool approach passing by the mountain before turning for final. Tower is super nice and the airport is very clean. A great stop to take a break !

Lovely airport,easy to navigate through and quickly through customs and passport control...long walk from terminal to exit..but hey thats nothing to serious..also easy service links outside to Stockholm Central

ADG goes EPA
The operators who continually breached the agreement of 20,000 movements p.a. ( Over 40,000 movements, in breech of the act) applicable to the airfield, have now been the main reason that the airfield has to have an EPA license.
What a disaster and what a tragic result and sad result for a beautiful country airfield. All in the name of the dollar and at every other shareholders expense in terms of rules, regulations, impositions, restrictions, pending fines and whatever else the EPA can come up with.
This will now be the only EPA licensed airfield in South Australia. A Government Environment Protection Dept.
It makes one wonder what compensates for greed? At the imposition and impact on others airfield users who did not violate the rules and therefore are not responsible for this airfield now to be forced to be EPA licensed.

On field restaurant
Cheap fuel. Friendly people. The diner is in the FBO/terminal building. Chrome stools at the bar. Tables with mismatched tablecloths. Big plate glass windows looking out at the ramp and runways. Sweet potato french fries and the hands-down best chicken (a flattened, seasoned, battered, fried chicken breast) sandwich I have ever eaten in my entire life. What is not to like about LFK?

I have a friend who is travelling to Dubai sa January.. pero ang exit point nya is Asian countries (i.e HK , SG , Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam) mamimili pa kami kung saan sya magandang mag exit para wlang hassle. dapat meron return ticket pa din pa pinas if you travelling to those Asian countries. Im in UAE currently working here,

What are the managers and officials doing?. Very worst rest room it's like pigs shed. We pay tax , entrance fees ,parking but they never consider people . need to take sever action.

Why is there no public transport to/from the airport ? Surely one bus service per day would be possible ? Taxis are very expensive.
