Susanville Airport
Landed here early 2013 on an Angel Flight from KPAO. Nice runway, pretty mountanious scenery in and out. FBO (Susanville Aviation) was very helpful and had fuel and oil for us.

David, o problema em Congonhas é que não tem uma área de escape, portanto os pilotos precisam ser extremamente experientes nas aproximações e sempre usar o ILS mesmo em CAVOK. Desativar o aeroporto isto não vai acontecer, mas sinceramente gostaria muito que tivesse esta área de escape, o que seria necessário desapropriar alguns terrenos nos finais de cada lado das pistas, ou melhor ainda, ao redor do aeroporto.

There are 3,500 or so speakers of the language known as Mian. They're all in Sundaun Province, PNG. And Yapsiei is one of the 4 villages where it is spoken, according to the book about endangered and lost languages of the world edited by Peter K. Austin.

From what I understand, "UPB" is for VTUU. Use of "UPB" for "Habana/Playa Baracoa" is tolerated for local use having been used by the Cuban military before civil use was permitted. The abreviation came from the ICAO code "MUPB", with pilots dropping the M, much like dropping the K from US mainland ICAO codes to get most US IATA codes. I hope this makes sense, I'm sure others could clarify this further.

More International Flights
I wish that Davao should have many International flights ang should be expanded.. because what is the use of our international airport if there are no international flights.. so better add some.. then there should be an airport expansion.. Thank you! :D

The location given for this "Airport" is right in the middle of the mountains and in amongst the trees! Tiger country! It is also on a bearing of approx 090 and 39 Nm out from Yea, across step mountains and a lake!
Rather than the "Zero" elevation given it appears to be around 3100 feet!

Lovely airport
Nice and quiet mountainous airport - located in a beautiful valley, with excellent runway, very well cared about, and just slightly challenging approaches due to elevated terrain surrounding the field. Nothing to be worried about if your plane can perform - and the scenery around is simply adorable! Note that you can easily barge into US airspace flying southbound, so keep your eyes open unless that was your plan...
Rough field
Been there a couple of weeks ago, mid-May '13, passed low and over. Fairly easy to find, though not many landmark features around. Looks like a private airstrip, currently not quite taken care of. It is listed in CFS, though without a chart - unusual! There was an empty hangar at the end of the airstrip, and southbound approach was almost over the rooftops of the farmers' house. I refrained from landing there due to a visibly rough and deteriorated surface - and that's a pity, as location is pretty neat. Hope this strip will recover at some point, heard rumors about that, but please check with the owner before arriving!

I enjoyed the visit to E.I.A where we were highly welcome We as family of Nairobi Aviation College Nakuru Campus, it was on 10th may 2013. Me myself as one of the student; Robert,i was impressed of the services they offer, flights dispatching, and staff organization. How can i go applying for attachment there?

KUT is not 174 kHz. It is 1737 kHz. The same with GA 173 should be 1725 kHz. This is a problem with OurAirports.com. Looks like all frequencies with nnnn kHz are shortened to nnn (the first three numbers).
