This is rubbish! There is a strong recreational and VH component to the Adelaide Soaring Club which now has a growing powered element. There is a new clubhouse and briefing room and visitors are certainly welcome. There can be a lot of traffic with gliders and tug aircraft so you need to listen to your wireless and follow the usual rules. There can also be several Jabirus in the circuit on training days - but this just means you will have someone to talk to if you call in. John Couper-Smartt

Philippine immigration requirement
Besides having a passport validity of at least 6 (six) months, passengers are reminded to take note of the following requirements:
Overseas contract workers and permanent residence in a foreign country
Must have an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), which can be obtained from the POEA Balik Manggagawa Processing Division. Passengers must have proof of permanent residence in a foreign country and a valid work permit card.
Passengers travelling with children below 18 years of age
Effective April 2006, minors travelling with 1 (one) parent have no need for DSWD Clearance. However, for minors travelling with an adult other than their parents (e.g. aunt, uncle, grandparents and others), a DSWD Clearance is required.
Passengers travelling as tourists
Must have their return flight confirmed (not more than 1 (one) month), and must have an invitation letter/affidavit of support from a sponsor that is dry sealed and duly authenticated by the Philippine Consulate office in a foreign country (original copy).

Landing Fee's
First of all thanks @david for bring the facility fee for Glanford to my attention i did not know about that and would have been pretty upset if i were to show up their and get a bill like that for sure! Second I'm noticing that YHM is waiving it's landing fee's on certain occasions to attract GA traffic. does anyone know if the facility fee for certain places will be waived? or is their a place on the field to park were you wont get charged these " hidden fee's"

Smith, who is not endorsed for aerobatics below 3000' is often observed conducting Aerobatics at about 1200 to 1500, with a paying passenger on board, but does anybody dob him in? Nope.
Saturday 21/04/2012 between 10.30 and 1100 hrs he was observed by others conducting aerobatic manoeuvres at below 3000', about 1500' in the Tiger Moth with a paying passenger. But will we phone CASA? Not on your life.
One never phones CASA even if it is Smith.

Also know that if anyone tells you to call a 011 237 number its a scam and you might not know u dont have international calling and they charge u 50 cents a mins, I have also occured 120.00 in phone calls to these ppl!!!!

1) When you call o send a fax nobody unswer it do not matter if you go to the AIP or any other sourse. (doit yourself call to Noadibou airpot or anywhere, the AIP means nothing for them just paper)
2) They do not respect ICAO international agreements eventhough they are signors, for instance, the resquest a clearance number for overfly, tecnical stop or whatever. (no freedoms of the air) Probably they don´t even know what agreements they have signed and part of.
3) If you need to get fuel prices or something they do not put the means.
4) Whatever the problem they will increase it.
5) They like to see airports empty of aircraft so they don´t have to move.
6) A handling for a small aircraft 500€ if do not want to have problems.
7) If you can avoid a stop over by in Mauritania do it.
8) This country is isolating itself and then blaming someone else (europeans, indians, chinese), the sourse of there problems comes from abroad according to them, probably from another planet.
9) The people related to aviation field they do not speak english

My family flew into and out of Beja last year in a BMI Regional aircraft operated by Sunvil (flights every Sunday morning) for a holiday on the Costa Vincentina. It was a very pleasant experience, and I understood the service was continuing this year. It is certainly very convenient for the Alentejo, and it would be a pity to see it going to waste.

I wouldn't land here again. The runway is in poor shape. There are large trees at the north end which present a disconcerting challenge.
There are much nicer airparks in the area.

Wow.... I trained at 4 flying schools and with about 6 different trainers before ending up at Bi-Planes and I certainly have no hesitation in recommending them. The people are just sooo nice and the trainers have been the best. I understand that you cant please all the people, all of the time but in the time I have been there, they have certainly pleased me. I certainly havent seen double standards... only a professional standard from the owners down.
