Certainly is an interesting airfield to land at, big wide runway. Not a lot to do there other than have a tea or coffee. Being a military getting on and off can be a little difficult%. Bring photo ID if you want to go off camp and allow extra time to be ferried on and off camp.

We arrived there in G-FIZZ back in October we were treated to a tour of the museum and biplane aircraft. The club chairman insisted we put our aircraft in the hanger for the night.
Looking forward to returning.

I worked at the Won Pat int'l airport as passeger service agent for 15 months with KAL. 2015-2017.

for student pilot. pilotage and deadreckoning was hard. I failed the first checkride because i miscounted number of geographic location and approached TFR on anderson. It's wonderful island. I would love to be based in the pacific paradise.

Info from 1977
According to a 1977 CFS, runway 17/35 was gravel, 3500Γ75 ft, and had right hand circuits for rwy 35. The airport sold 100 octane fuel. NORDO aircraft had to stay south of the railroad tracks to the north of the field landing 17 or departing 35. The airport operator was Hull Air Services Ltd in Masson.

i was the flight engineer on a c 119 we were based at niagara falls arb new york,,,we left feb 1960,,,about 2 hours from edmonton we had a engine fire,,we landed at beatton river air strip,,it was snow packed,,we spend about a week repairing the engine,,,we returned back to rcaf edmonton and did some more engine work,,after that we contined on to ladd afb alaska,,,,smgt william mcdougall mcd14131@comcast.net

This area is devoid of anything to do.... landed here a year ago..... thought I would try again recently..... still nothing to do in the area.... NOTL is a WAY BETTER destination. Plus the airport looks like it belongs in the Ozarks....lol....

Foundation Stone Laid at Darbhanga Airport
The foundation stone has been laid by the Bihar CM and Civil Aviation Minister today at Darbhanga Airport. The flights to New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru are expected to begin from July 2019.

9X1 is the best kept secret! A great place to learn and practice at. Jay Yeagar at Right Stuff Flight School is an amazing instructor. The taxiways are a little beaten up but the runway is decent.

Nice spot to drop in
Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon and basically had the field to ourselves. Nice FBO, friendly people, took the courtesy car into town for a burger at Willys Burger... a pretty darn good burger and only about a 9 minute drive from the field. Fuel prices were reasonable.
